Wing IV News

1) Only a few days left until the end of the final round of the Wing IV SL.
It is TIE-FREE 136 (attached) and is due by 22nd August. Send your files to
your CMDR and COL Ricardo.

2) LC Reaper is on leave from August 19-27. MAJ Halcyon is A-WC until then.
In un-related news, the ewoks have been let out of the Yod barracks and
are free to run around the Sov for the next week (if that's alright with
Bret :P). Enjoy :)

3) The Lamed CMDR position is still open, as always if you're interested
apply to LC Reaper and COM/FA Kramer

4) The Doc and Nurses positions are still open (theres a surprise), if you
are even remotely interested send your application to LC Astarosta.

5) Kaph and Yod Squadron are both in competitions. Kaph is facing Thunder
squad and Yod is up against Typhoon squad, both of Wing X. Gooooooooooo Kaph
and Yod!

7) Our numbers are down to 33 pilots. Get out there and recruit!


Ship/Fleet News
1) The Training Office is running two small competitions. The first one is
to come up with a motto for Daedalus. Details are available at

is related to which ship, wing and squadron will get to be in the first
issue of a cadet newsletter of sorts which the training office will be

5) Effective immediately, all multiplayer competitions held on IRC (unless
otherwise noted, i.e. this does not affect the Imperial Naval Fleet War
Night) will be moved into the channel #EHCOC. The new Emperor's Hammer
Combat Operations Center is now completely in use. For all competitions, the
moderation bot, WillyB0T will control handing out matches, recording scores,
etc. Also, the rule for setting up matches outside of channel is now void,
you must come into #EHCOC and use the bot to set up a match. The triggers
for the bot are basic, !add , where is the game xwa, xvt, or jk, and your TC
PIN number (example: !xwaadd 296). The moderators will be there to help you,
or may contact me with questions, wetwilly@ehnet.org.
