Wing News
(Note: Any replies to anything in here should be made to the Colossus Egroups at (isdcolossus@yahoogroups.com) or me individually at (absolutv@isdcolossus.com). Don't just hit Reply all. It is done like this so I can be sure that everyone gets the report)

Well as you already know there has been some recent turmoil in the US, with all the terrorist activity, things are on a downhill slide. Lets just say for the moment everything is postponed except for ECR at the moment enlight of this. however don't forget that this coming weeknd until after the mourning time as posted on the Colossus news site, there will be another round of the ISDCA Championship. If all goes well, this next time might prove to be interesting at best. As I got a suprise for you if the current loses >:)

Now you all know that ECR is upon us and the time left is almost over. Sorry for not mentioning this sooner but you all should already know about it from your CMDR's. So unless your on leave you better get writing. If you need some help get with your CMDR's or myself. We will be glad to help you, help us get a 100% particiaption rating this time round. Remember the more people we have submit entries the better our score will be regardless of the quality of the submission, as longas it meets the requirements we will be fine :)

Lastly the site for the news is at [http://www.isdcolossus.com] then select ISD Colossus News :P pretty obvious huh? Go there and read it ASAP and remember. The Colossus is our backbone and you the pilots are there to support her stature. So we want to see plenty of activity to help keep her the best ship in the BattleGroups. Finally, congratz again to MAJ Zystem Fryar on his ISDCA win, lets see if he can keep it next time eh >:)

Finally, finally, This report will be short as I was on leave for awhile due to the arrival of my new baby daughter. Mostly what I'm updating here is the stats sections where mt compadre didn't have the info last week and well frankly I wasn't available to give them up :P So this is what you'll see the most of when I get done, so sit back read and enjoy! Good day!

Colossus Standing Orders
Standing Order #1: (RL) Real Life first!
Of course the first and foremost thing is RL. It is highly recommended to take all RL matters first and before all ship functions, unless you just don't care. I would like to enforce this order to all members. But please be reminded that you should inform your superiors of any situation so that we can count you on LOA, and don't forget to mark your profile stating your on Leave. Even if your only going to be on leave for 2 days, please mark your absence. This way if it takes longer than we know where you are and won't count you as MIA/AWOL.

Shortened. Read the rest at ISD Colossus

Reviews

Egroups
Overall the chatting is slowing down again, can't explain why this time, and I don't have a clue. We do need to make sure that everyone is part of their egroups to ensure they get all mail sent to them. Just make sure you CC Mell on all communiqués. I don't want him being left out! Remember if you reply to this Wing Report then please only hit reply and send it to me, or hit reply and add the Colossus egroup addy at (isdcolossus@yahoogroups.com). I can't express this enough. Because if your reply is trivial then the others don't need to see it, as well as being personal. Thats why I send the mail this way.

IRC
Getting much better, just need to lend a helping hand to those who are not there to get them there! So send them to the #isd_colossus chat room.

Message Boards
I have an idea, but you have to contact me first.

Colossus Website
Absolut Vodka is working on some updates, updates, updates sheesh, all these people coming and going, taking a leave of absence and never coming back. Hmm..anyone ever tell them they should hang out for atleast long enough to make LCM? :P

Academics
9 wooooo... IWATS courses passed by Colossus Pilots this week..
Aidan Pryde ----> AIM, VBS
Anthiny Starr ----> AIM
Jacob Racke ----> AIM, SM/2, M/1, ICQ <---received an ISM for this :) like I said he would
Zept Leeartic ----> TT
Absolut Vodka ----> AIM, and waiting on another can you believe it?

Okay so alittle bit down from the last time I reported this, but hey atleast someone is doing something. Not only that, we have a winner of the ISM treat from me, LCM Jacob Racke did 4 IWATS in a week so we got him an ISM. Sound cool? You could get one too, all you have to do is apply yourself for a few minutes of your day and do 4 IWATS courses and you'll get one too! But they must be completed and passed within the reporting week or it doesn't count :P And CMDR's don't forget to try and atleast get those who you think will be promising Officers for the future to take the SM/2 course.

BSF's - STATISTICS
As near as I can tell all BSF's that were on hold by the TAC Office have been fulfilled. So all stats this week are generated with every BSF I received since last Sunday. You'll be suprised maybe, especially when you see the stats for the month to date. Now onto the overall stats for the Wing.

Colossus totals for September thus far:

Total BSF's: 66
Total Missions: 252 (not much but the month is still young)

Colossus totals for August:

August
Total BSF's: 308
Total Missions: 1,183

Now thats simply smashing ole boy! An outstanding month for the Colossus. I only hope we save some battles and missions left for the ECR now that its here. Squadron and pilot breakdown coming up.

Top 5 Pilots of the Week
Now you'll see some different names this time, simply amazing I say. Here are the Top 5 Pilots for the last 2 weeks showing off their BSF stats:

LCM Oorl Quygg: 20 BSF's, 77 missions
LT Executor: 6 BSF's, 30 missions
CM Aidan Pryde: 5 BSF's, 24 missions
LT Scorpius: 4 BSF's, 12 missions
LCM Derrek Wolf: 4 BSF's, 11 missions

My congratz to LCM Oorl Quygg in winning the POW (Pilot of the Week)! He took it away and made an outstanding show these past 2 weeks! LCM Oorl Quygg is the one to beat this time taking the top gun award this time!

Top 5 Pilots of the Month for September

Same as above :P since we just started this month.

Congratulations to all the top pilots for the month of September so far :P

Top Squadron of the Week
Over all I have to say congratulations to Nu Squadron, as they take the SOW (Squadron of the Week) award. They did it by flying for: 21 BSF's and 81 missions. Outstanding showmanship good job guys! Lets see if they can keep it up until the end of the month ;)

Squadron Summaries
Unfortunately its no use to give a complete breakdown of each squadron this time. But all in all its been a quite week since the WTC (World Trade Center) disaster. I'm hoping after a week of mourning for those of us Colossus based American pilots that this level of activity will pick up. However, i will rank the squadrons in the order they are performing at the moment for September:

1) Nu Squadron
2) Pi Squadron
3) Mu Squadron
4) Iota Squadron
5) Eta and Omicron Squadrons (both tie for 5th as far as activity levels for the past week or so)

Well there ya have it. the squadronlevel breakdown. Looking pretty good wouldn't ya say? But the onth is young like I said, and we have plenty of time to see this ranking change hands. Atleast once or twice :)

Miscellanous

Everyone onboard the Colossus has seen a couple of promotions this week, along with a few transfers whether internal or from and external Wing. Key thing here is to do some more recruiting so that we can pick our numbers up and also get the activity level up even more so. Reason why i say this, well ECR is here and the more particiaption we have the better our scores will be. Andif we are to make any form of rank towards winning this thing, then we must help each other out, you the teamwork thing. So lets see what you all can do.

Don't forget to vist the Colossus Website as things develope it will be announced there. So until next week, stay safe and be aware....
