Jack's Ultimate Scramble (FCHG Comp)
Nov. 1st: Competition begins at midnight no matter your time zone.
Every Wednesday after: Progress reports to be handed out
11:59:59 December 31st: Final battles to be received
January 1-4: final scores posted, Wing Champions determined
January 5th, The Final Showdown: The six Wing Champions compete in the ultimate test, it has been decided that if all pilots have XWA, the Showdown will be held in #Airlock54 at 17:00 EST (5:00 PM)
Now the Rules:
1. All battles must be received between the exact times of 00:00:00 November 1st and 23:59:59 December 31st
2. Wing Champions must respond to the Showdown invitation on January 4th (seperate from the final scores) or else Wing Runner-Ups will be declared Wing Champions
3. All pilots should submit at least 4 battles and/or free missions each week
4. Battles previously flown for database may be reflown for the competition.
Regulations:
1. Absolutely no person may use invulnerability or unlimited weapons unless I rule it nessacery to use them
2. Any battle found using the above violation will not be counted for anything and will be stricken from the record
3. Wing Champions must participate in the Final Showdown.

EH vs. UPA: Results!

The competition ended earlier today, and overall I am happy with the outcome, despite the fact that we came up a bit short of winning it. Well fought though!
Here is a breakdown of how we did overall:
X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter
Game W/L: 43/50 (0.86)
Player W/L: 111/126 (0.88)
X-Wing Alliance
Game W/L: 2/3 (0.67)
Player W/L: 2/3 (0.67)
As you can see, we were close but slightly overmatched. However, there were 20 pilots participating over both platforms, with a higher number of games than we've had in most Weeks of War. I hope this trend will continue!
Our most active and winningest pilot through this war was CM Sharp (A.K.A. Darkmage), who played 17 games and won 11 of them. Great work!
The most active group was Wing XIII with 34 games, and the most deadly group was Tau Squadron with a win/loss ratio of 2.33. Well done to both these groups and all others who participated as well!
Now, there is a week's rest before the next XvT Week of War begins... I hope to see everyone out for it too! There will be no complaining about lack of opponents then, either :)

Other oratory this week:
After hearing that he now has three ISDs under his command, MD begins
loading all of his prank monkeys into the mini-ISDs. Taking the primary
controls of the capital ships, he launches all three out of the hangar bay,
but one of them explodes and takes out the one nearest it as well, leaving
MD one ISD and a whole bunch of stunned monkeys to contend with.
(Ahhhh... the last prank as a Wing V officer)

As CM Hunter finishes his statement, the lone surviving ISD 'under' MD's
control named the ISD Jason Hunter, powers up its laser batteries and fires
all of its lasers at MD, who's still weeping at the loss of two wings of his
monkeys and the other capital ships, and incinerates his body. Then,
engaging its tractor beam, it brings its control to the mini-hangar, and
slowly moves towards Hunter's Missile Boat where it powers down and parks.

As everyone in Wing V falls asleep in the early hours of the morning, a lone
mini-SSD exits the Wing I hangar bay and makes its way towards the Wing V
hangar. Sitting next to Sicky's fighter is the 10ft. steel mascot of the
wing, which takes a bunch of ion pulse warheads to its vital areas from the
cloaked Tie Phantoms. Disabled and left defenseless, (the mini-ISDs have
been disabled because of a universal remote) the SSD Sickman begins
spray-painting the eagle pink, after this, Corsair's mini-missile boats
spray on little red hearts. Finally, for good measure, the SSD arms its EEC
guns and fires multiple rounds at the Eagle, and then quietly leaves the
hangar bay to return home.

PS. So far I've painted red hearts on the Wing I mascot, done various other
pranks, and no response from Wing I, WTF.

*As Corsairs SSD flys towards the wing 1 bay at an incredibly slow speed(like all SSDs) A half full squadron of mixed fighters headed by an A-9b comes out of hyperspace along side 2 wings of monkey eskort. MDs voice comes on over teh squadron chanel and is transmited to Corsairs quarters. "All pilots, load those special misiles and lock on to the SSD thing and Monkeys surch and destroy!" With that 14 balls of banth boodo are rocketed towards teh SSD all along teh side adn comand tower. once teh ship is blinded and all but disabled by teh blasts mini EEC and laser shots start blasting by as mini fighters dogfight beside the seemingly HUGE squadron of actual fighters. "Ok start the pull flight 2, we'll cover you" MD says as 3 of the fighters locks on to teh SSD with tractor been adn bring it back toward teh wing V hangar. MD locks on to a few ships and fires a turbolaser blast that destroys an entire flight of mini fighters with each shot. As a new wing of Corsairs reinforcements comes to help the dwindeling fleet of ships Corsair launchs and is disabled by a skipray blastboat adn towed back to the wing V then to Corsair's surprise all the ISDs he left to wing V members launch and MD's voice once again comes on, "For torture to the wing maskot and acting as a traitor to the wing, I am going to have to prank you." Corsairs ships enters teh hangar and he stars at his precious SSD " I have painted your ship pink, covered it in harts and bantha boodoo, cause it is much more potent. Though that is prety bad, I have desided you will have the same fate. Muahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! Face, you may paint when ready.*
**A screem comming from the wing hangar wakes up the rest of the wing V and they all rush to the hangar door, blasters ready for a fire fight if need be. LCM Corsair emerges from the door covered in pink paint and red harts and stinking of abnth boodoo and wookie piss. As teh wing realises it is just one of MDs pranks, they laugh at Corsair and walk back to their quarters to go to bed. Corsair makes his way to a turbo lift and goes back to his side of the Sov ashamed.**
***Md walks over to teh wing eagle and instructs his monkeys to clean it off adn rearm it. Then he makes his way over to the squadron of fighters that has just landed in temporary landing places in teh wing hangar. "Good job hammerhead. The rodent thret is gone for the time being so all those not from teh Sov can go back to the castle Tarentum and take teh next few days off, wile I... sort out some problems her;)"***
P.S. the reason they aren't pranking back is cause they don't have teh pranking spirit of our wing(or teh drunken senile lunatics we call CMDR;) And they are missing one key element for a good pranking wing, ME!

As Corsair heads back to burn his clothes, and to take multiple bathes and
showers, (note to self, prank squadron commander once this is resolved,
also, figure out how all of ISDs are still activated after I disabled them
and how the two ISDs that were vaporized are still... in one piece) he
orders the maintence officer of Wing I to find someone to clean and repair
the SSD Sickman. He also awakens Wing I's mascot, an elephant as a
precautionary measure, and orders the squirrels to arm all of the mini-craft
for a quick strike at castle Tarentum. Whilst this is happening, the ferret
shock troopers move into position and abduct MD from his quarters while the
monkeys are off celebrating and cleaning the Eagle. Corsair then upon
learning of the capture, calls Atilla the Hutt to tell her MD wants to meet
her whole family for the weekend, even though it's mating season for the
Hutts.
Corsair, with his complete mini-fleet in support, then heads out and hypers
to the Castle Tarentum, where upon arrival, Sickman is standing there
wondering why this force has just arrived, and finds out that the Hammerhead
Squadron has just assaulted a member of Sub-Zero Squadron....
and this has just become a Dark Brotherhood ordeal.
