Wing IV News

1) First of all welcome to CM Exar Khaland who has joined us from Praetorian to become the new Teth CMDR. I'm sure you will all join me in welcoming him here to the fourth

2) Yod Squadron are currently having a comp with Sigma Squadron, the choosen battle is TC-TIE 177 and the deadline is the end of today. Get you pilot files to LC Halcyon eh_halcyon@hotmail.com. I wait with baited breath for the results

3) CPT Malik has had mail problems again. Hotmail has deleted all his mails (yet again). If you sent anything important through to him (like pilot files) please resend them to him. He does apologise for this.

4) Things are going well with LCM Jack Ultimate Scramble, the results for week 2 are below

As you can see we have increased our lead to 9, good work, now lets keep it up, there is still a fair way to go, till we win this thing ;)

5) The XWA Division is still under way in COL Ford's Power Mascot Battles. The battle is IW-XWA 26 and is due to LC Jahan Kalar jahankalar@hotmail.com by the 21st November. We have had quite a few submissions even though we are a TIE Wing. I know we can get a few more and improve on our position of 3rd after the 1st Round

6) After a longtime being ignored and not looked at I am currently in the process of updating the Wing IV Website. This is not going to be easy its quite a mess, but I'm sure I can get most of it done before the end of the year

3) Compendium updated

The file system of the Compendium has been changed, file names are now (Platform)(Subgroup)(Number).zip ; for example, TIE-TC Battle 11 file is named TIETC11.zip . All 600+ entries of the database have been updated, but there may be some dead links, report me any of these at striker@tiecorps.org.

Without wasting any time, the ATF BGCOM has selected the new Commodore for the ISD Subjugator: Congratulations to Rear Admiral Smitrock!

6) VanCOM Resigns

With the recent resignation of Rear Admiral Zippy Hawk as Commodore of the ISD Vanguard, the position is now open for applications.

All applicants should be able to demonstrate motivation for the position, as well as any ideas they have for the ship. In addition, command experience at Wing Commander level (or equivalent) is a big plus. For more information on the position of Commodore, please see the Training Manual entry located here.

A reminder that the ISD Vanguard is a multiplayer ship (XWA). All applications should be sent to Admiral Cyric and Fleet Admiral Priyum.
