A difficult week for Wing V, were we have lost members and our honour has been challenged, and seeing that someone was tarnishing the name of Wing V i through down the gauntlet and challenged Wing VIII to a comp where everything is at stake. The comp hasn`t been TO approved yet, but it should be soon as the starting date is tomorrow.
I emailed COM Proton about Wing V`s current situation, and through-out the fleet number`s are falling and activity & communication is lower than normal, but this Wing is my responsibility and always remember if i`m not doing a good job then tell me:)
I also told COM Proton that i`m here to stay unless i`m kicked out, and i will ride these stormy waves & go all out to get Wing V back to the top.
With the help of you my friends.........this will be achieved :))

Other news is from next week the meeting in Airlock#21 will be changed to 15:00 EST, hopefully this new time will be better for all of us to meet........as currently i`m in Airlock#21 just with Skiny and i`m getting to the point where he will soon be blasted into a million pieces if he doesn`t shut-up :)

Jack's Ultimate Scramble (FCHG Comp)
Nov. 1st: Competition begins at midnight no matter your time zone.
Every Wednesday after: Progress reports to be handed out
11:59:59 December 31st: Final battles to be received
January 1-4: final scores posted, Wing Champions determined
January 5th, The Final Showdown: The six Wing Champions compete in the ultimate test, it has been decided that if all pilots have XWA, the Showdown will be held in #Airlock54 at 17:00 EST (5:00 PM)
Now the Rules:
1. All battles must be received between the exact times of 00:00:00 November 1st and 23:59:59 December 31st
2. Wing Champions must respond to the Showdown invitation on January 4th (seperate from the final scores) or else Wing Runner-Ups will be declared Wing Champions
3. All pilots should submit at least 4 battles and/or free missions each week
4. Battles previously flown for database may be reflown for the competition.
Regulations:
1. Absolutely no person may use invulnerability or unlimited weapons unless I rule it nessacery to use them
2. Any battle found using the above violation will not be counted for anything and will be stricken from the record
3. Wing Champions must participate in the Final Showdown.

XWA Private Hosted Wargame

I'm willing to host an XWA wargame, similar to Imperial Storm II, for 3 individuals. It will consist of a free for all wargame which will last about 30 wargame days. (A little over one month, depending on how fast a wargame is done.)
Requirements are that you have XWA, a stable internet connection to play the game online for battles between fleets, willing to send reports/orders for your fleet everyother day and willing to have fun! There are no medals involved, just fun.

VanCOM Resigns

With the recent resignation of Rear Admiral Zippy Hawk as Commodore of the ISD Vanguard, the position is now open for applications.
All applicants should be able to demonstrate motivation for the position, as well as any ideas they have for the ship. In addition, command experience at Wing Commander level (or equivalent) is a big plus. For more information on the position of Commodore, please see the Training Manual entry located here.
A reminder that the ISD Vanguard is a multiplayer ship (XWA). All applications should be sent to Admiral Cyric and Fleet Admiral Priyum.
