GN SickMan sleeps peacefully in his SSSD bed, dressed in his Wing V Imperial P.J's, a few women of ill repute also scattered around the huge bed. The door creeks open and a small figure skitters in and heads towards Sicky's Sound System. There the figure sorts through the collection of Rock and Metal and finds what he is looking for and giggles.
He turn's the volume to loud, then to Sicky level and finally to Ooo Evilll level and presses Play :)
Ok Wing V, your job.........if you choose to accept it, is to finish up from the above story begining, best finish shall win a prize:)

WING V COMPS
Wing V vs Wing XIV
This Wing V vs. Wing XIV competition will involve both SP and MP events. The SP segment will involve the use of XvT-TC #38 and XWA-TC #29 Battles, in which pilots will be eligible to compete in both platforms. The Pilot with the highest score will be the overall winner in each platform, and second place awards will be given to the 2nd highest scoring pilot in each Wing. The MP portion will involve the pilots competing in all EH authorized MP events and WoW's. The pilot with the most MP LoC's at the end of the competition will be declared the MP TOP ACE, and the second place awards will be given to the pilots in each Wing with the next highest earned LoC totals. An IS-SW will be given to the top winner in each category, and second place winners will be awarded an IS-BW!

Here`s the plan, all this summer there is going to be a ongoing massive, huge stupendous comp, that will all have you saying, Sicky are you nuts........hence the name of the comp.
There will be the usual flying comps every month as per usual, but from now until September the 1st there will be different comps that will have this long time to complete to give you guys some time to do them and to change the very foundations of Wing V forever !
1) Ok, design the new Banner for Wing V with a new Mascot in it, the Eagle has been In Wing V for as long as i`ve been around, but it`s time for a change
This has to be a particulat execellent piece of work that stand out from the rest and that symbols what we are in Wing V, also a smaller version is need for our uniform arms.
2) A new Nickname and motto for Wing V, a great task to change a Wing`s nick & motto, i invite you all for idea`s, the best will be propsed to the COM for his agreement.
3) Mission builders are needed, i want a Wing free mission or Battle, on any format to be designed, which will include the personel of Wing V, our COM and Team SIC

XvT Competitions

I have signed the EH up for a Competition starting this Friday. It will last one week, and is specifically oriented towards XvT players and TIE Interceptors. I would also like to note that the EH is signed up for XvT WoW, which will start on July 19 and go until July 26. I have been impressed with pilot participation in WoW events, and I'm sure this one will get a great response as well!
Starcraft Tournament

Just to make sure that everyone knows, there is a Starcraft competition going on on board the Sov at the moment. Its intended starting date is August first, so try to sign up by then. It will be a round robin event, so be prepared to play lots of games. The only requirements are a working copy of Starcraft and a working B-net account. I'm willing to open this up to non-Sovers, so join up.
End Of Imperial Storm III

After doing a total recounting of all teams possessions, including points on hand, values of all items possesed (including probes) and counting each planet to be worth it's daily RP value, I find the following new values:
ATF has 16090 after recounting
Sov has 65338 after the recount
ASF has 40924 after a recount
Total is 122352
ATF has 13.1 %
Sov has 53.4 %
ASF has 33.4 %
Goal of the game was supposed to be 75 %. No team reached that. All teams finished with lower totals than they started. The Sov has the highest total points, but the ASF has the smallest loss of points from their start. This does not lead to a clear winner, as the rules did not anticipate someone not winning in the allotted time. I therefore will consider the ASF and the Sov team to both have marginal victories.
Due to the nature of this competition, I am not able to award medals to the winning team anyway. I would however like to commend all of you, and your teams for their excellent work. Of particular note I want to thank CM Ender mBind, for his work in this game, creating the Web Site, and helping with TIE mission creation. I wish to thank the Sov team, for their excellent meeting of deadlines, it made my job a lot easier. I want to thank the TFAs of all teams, for questioning me and the rules when necessary, and for giving me ideas for the future. But most importantly I want to thank the pilots who showed up, and everyone who participated and had a good time. Admirals, I ask that you take into account your pilots' activities in ImpStorm when reviewing their records for promotion or medals.
Thank you all for a good Game, I now take a weekend leave ( I will be away) and then I will begin work on a few new games, on a much smaller scale, to take place as soon as possible. There will be a basic game (very similar to ImpStorm) and a more advanced game (for those who have wargaming experience). Notice will be posted to apply for these games.

XO's comment - I don't really think I need to tell everyone how important a new TIE game would be for the TIE Corps and the EH as a whole. Currently, we have a situation where our primary platform, TIE Fighter, is becoming very hard to acquire and even harder to run on modern systems. XvT had multiplayer, but not very good singleplayer and, from what I've been told, network code that isn't exactly that hot. XWA has the eyecandy, it runs on modern systems and OSes, but it has issues of modification and the Rebel setting. With some recent PC releases such as JK2 and SWGB, Lucasarts is finally loosening the bonds and allowing fans to create content. This could factor into a new TIE game, so go put your name on the petition.
