COMPETITIONS
A. The Wing Commander vs the Wing comp has made great strides and I can finally feel good in
ending it! As soon as I finish my remaining challenges, I will terminate the comp. So those that
still want to challenge me need to get an email to me before 1 August!!!
Remember, you choose the free mission, and if you defeat me, you will win an IS-BW!
LT Phoenixus has challenged me to XvT-Free 10 and I need to fly it.
LT Mulder has defeated me in TF-68 and the medal has been requested.
MAJ Mike has defeated me in TF-104 and the medal has been requested.
LT Dehner has challenged me to TF-119 and I am awaiting his .tfr or BSF.
CPT Vector has challenged me to XWAF -63 and I need to fly it.
LCM Es’mith has challenged me to TF-94 and we both need to fly it.
The current standings are:

B. Omega Squadron challenge. GN Devin has retired, I don’t know what the results were.....
C. Alpha and Delta Squadrons are competing in the Colossus Squadron League comp and are
doing well.
D. Planning has commenced on the next Wing Competition. It will be an all-encompassing
Competition using all three flight platforms as well as requiring email input. If you have any

E. Coming Aug. 1, the Sovereign Bombing Run Blowout. The competition will run for eight
weeks. Elements will include four custom TIE free missions, an XWA ladder and fiction and art
categories. Also, the winning squadron and wing in this event will be awarded the titles of
COM's Own.
F. Wing I/TC vs Hope Wing/RS - Missions are in flight testing. Limber your joysticks!
G. Lambda Squadron has a competition coming up with Nu Squadron, of the ISD Colossus.
Now, it's Tie-TC #200. It's highest average score wins, and will be hurt by the fact that Enerum
and Pheonixus can't fly it, so we'll just have to make up for it by scoring realy high. It's
supposedly very easy, so all you have to do is download and fly.

5. WING I STANDING ORDERS.
A. Communications
i. All members are required to maintain contact with their assigned unit in the TIE Corps with at
least ONE email per month. (This is paraphrased from the TIE Corps Rules and Regulations).
ii. All official communications opening with the term
ID/signature line require a response. This is mandatory on a one link up manner. FL respond to
CMDR/FL, CMDR respond to WC, etc.
iii. The Wing I egroup mailing list is an official resource for orders and news of the wing.
However, until this order is rescinded it is also to be used for fun and games. Those that have
problem with the amount of mail that this generates are encouraged to switch their mailing
preference to either daily digest or read on the web.
(DO NOT USE THE egroup TO RESPOND TO OFFICIAL MAIL, REPLY TO THE SENDER!)
iiii. All members of the wing are encouraged (not required) to get AIM, Yahoo Messenger,
MSM, ICQ or mIRC. I have all of these and shall show up now and then on mIRC, but
unfortunately my RL job entails that I shall not be able to make meetings except on a biweekly
basis.
B. Flight Duties
i. At this time, pilots are encouraged to participate in all open competitions and also to do at
least one independent TIE Free Mission a month. ((Again, this is not required.))
C. Reporting Duties.
i. Squadron Commanders are required to submit weekly reports no later than Sunday morning at
11:59am Eastern Standard Time.
ii. Squadron Commanders are required to submit Monthly Squadron Evaluations no later than
the last day of each calendar month.
