General Information
The final results of the ASF-SC IV were released on 5/6/02 by AD Cyric, and the ISD-II Intrepid was declared the winner!! My thanks, and a big congratulations to all of the pilots of the Intrepid for working hard during these past 9 weeks to secure this victory! This is the very first time that the Intrepid has ever earned the right to be called the ASF Flagship, and it is all due to your efforts! I must say that I am very impressed by the outstanding lead we maintained throughout the entire SC, and the fact that 5 out of 6 of our Squadrons made it into the Top Ten rankings of the Squadrons! Kudos to Copperhead Squadron as well for ranking #11, not a poor ranking when you consider the fact that LCM Jedi Eclipse was the only active pilot that remained after the SC began, and CM Delak Krennel did an outstanding job of rebuilding his Squadron back to full activity to achieve such a great score! Wing XIV, the COM and WC are extremely proud of every pilot, and we look forward to seeing the Intrepid remain at this high level of activity in the future! Without any further delay, here are the final standings of the ASF-SC IV!

All medals for the May Wing XIV Comp have been awarded! I figured there wouldn’t be any difficulty in OPS approving the 2nd place awards, and I am happy to see that all 13 medals came through quickly! J
GN Sickman, Wing Commander of Wing V, has presented us with a challenge to compete against his pilots! Since Wing V is where I originally served during my first year in the TIE Corps, I would love nothing more than to give them, and the Sovereign, a black-eye by showing how aggressive Wing XIV can be in a Wing vs. Wing comp against a Wing that is primarily SP. So what do you guys and gals think? Ready for a relaxing competition where we can stomp on a Wing from the SSSD Sovereign and gain more recognition in the TIE Corps for our activity? If the CMDR’s can quickly get me some feedback from their pilots then I can set this up to begin in early July. But I have to know that we will have the same type of activity for this that we had in the SC! Of which I’m sure this Wing is more than happy to give, eh? ;)
I’m impressed by the continuous activity even after completing such a long competition like the SC! A lot of IWATS Courses and BSF’s were completed this week. Not to mention the huge list of medals as well, proving that activity continues for Wing XIV beyond the SC! The COM and WC are very proud of you guys and gals, keep up the great activity!! :)
Recruiting, Recruiting, Recruiting! Yes, now that the SC is over it’s time to focus hard on fnding more pilots to join our ranks and continue building up our strength and activity! We received two new pilots this week, which is a great start, but we need more. CMDR’s I want you to focus on working as hard as possible to get your Squadrons up to full strength as soon as possible. Every Squadron is in a great position to reach new pilots, and we all know that each Squadron has a lot of active pilots now. Send out offers of assistance to the CT’s, contact some of the officers in the Reserves. Invite your RL friends to join and have fun with us! There are many ways to find new pilots, and with summer now in full swing for nearly everyone we should be able to find a lot of people ready to have some fun online when the temperature outside gets way to hot. One advantage of Global Warming, no one likes the heat, and escaping to blow up Rebels is always a great stress reliever from RL. ;)
Remember, the EH still runs a large number of MP competitions each week! Be sure to check the list down below to see which day and the time the competitions run! Many LoC’s available, and you never know, you may even win a DFC!! :)
CMDR’s, during the next two days I will be conducting an audit of the Squadron sites in Wing XIV. I will be notifying each of you with the results, and also of any opportunities I find that can possibly make your site even more attractive for recruiting future pilots! ;)

· New Uniform size limits! The maximum size for uniforms has now been reduced to 40K. Please ensure your uniform is under this size when submitting it.
· New IWATS Professors have been appointed! Congratulations to: VA Drake (TIE Mission Design); LT DarkEagle (TIE Tactics); and LC Khameir Sarin (AIM)!
· More on Uniforms! The XO has coded a new uniform display script in ASP.net. Apparently, it's supposed to be faster. If your uniform does not display for some reason, email SA Astatine (jpboyce@indigo.net.au) with your PIN and he'll try to figure out what's wrong with it.
