General Information


I’m sending this report on a Friday because tomorrow I will be spending the day out on the lake for a change. I could use some sunlight and fresh air, so I won’t be back until sometime late Saturday night. If anyone needs me for anything you’ll have to wait until I’m back online Sunday. :P

I’ve had a number of good questions in the last few days regarding the new ASF point system that the BGCOM released. I am currently addressing these questions to VA Brakka for clarification. As soon as we’ve covered everything I’ll notify the CMDR’s with the answers, and also further instructions on implementing this new system starting this month!

CPT John Clark has transferred to the Reserves due to RL time constraints. In his place CPT Erryc Lasitter has been transferred from Copperhead Squadron to take command of Asp Squadron! I’ll be expecting great things from CPT Lasitter and Asp in the future! J

Very soon CPT Caltin Doros will step-down as CMDR of Cobra Squadron. The new CMDR for Cobra will be CM Tissaya Argat, currently serving as a FL in Krayt Squadron! CM Argat has proven herself very capable in leading a Squadron during the periods when MAJ Frodo has been on leave, and she has expressed a desire to make the next step in her career. I have the utmost confidence that Cobra Squadron will greatly benefit from her abilities! Tiss will be taking command of Cobra just as soon as the COM can get the FO to process the necessary paperwork. :P

I’d like to welcome an experienced pilot back from the Reserves! Wing XIV, say hello to CM Devin Taralis, now serving as a FM in Copperhead Squadron! J

Last week I sent out a notice about ID Lines and their proper usage. Apparently everyone didn’t properly assimilate that notice. I am therefore ordering everyone to review the current TC Training Manual regarding proper use of an ID Line at http://www.emperorshammer.net/to/manual/id_lines.htm. I expect there won’t be any further problems in this area in the future. :P


Investment Tip of the Week


If you had bought $1,000.00 worth of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00.

With WorldCom, you would have less than $5.00 left.
If you had bought $1,000.00 worth of Budweiser (the beer, not the stock) one year ago, drank all the beer, then turned in the cans for the 10 cent deposit, you would have $214.00.
Based on the above, my current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle! :P

· Preparations for an ASF War Games Competition continue under the supervision of the BGCOM. More details as they become available!
· LC Ekim Yellek has joined Avenger Squadron!



ASF Competitions


· BGCOM's ASF War - Admiral Cyric and the ASF Flag Staff are currently designing an Imperial Storm Style War Game that will feature the ASF. This competition will place the ASF Star Destroyers against one another with Avenger Squadron serving as a rogue pirate force. More details to come!
