General Information


CMDR’s, ensure this report reaches all of your pilots!!

Hello Wing XIV! Yes, it is I, your illustrious Wing Commander, finally completing his move from one city to another and getting things back where they should be! Some of you have seen my presence on mIRC throughout the week, and even though I’ve been idle I have taken note of things that have been recommended or queried to me. So do not fear, I’m taking care of everything. J

Ok, on to the General Information for the week! This weeks report will once again contain information from the past two weeks so that I can be sure everyone receives the most current and up-to-date information and news. This week we received a new pilot, SL Yukito, who has joined Asp 3-3! Welcome to Wing XIV Yukito, I’m sure your going to enjoy your tour of service with us! J

Activity continues to remain strong and constant! I am very impressed by the activity being demonstrated throughout the entire Wing! Keep up the great work pilots, as always we are looking for more and more reasons to reward you with promotions and medals, and as usual you are providing us with plenty of incentives to do it! J

MSE Awards are being processed this weekend, so expect them very soon! J

CPT Michael, CMDR of Diamondback Squadron, recently informed the COM and I that he is having to step-down as CMDR due to RL time constraints. CPT Michael has been a dedicated and hard working CMDR and he will be missed at the Command table each week. However he has promised to remain as an active FM, so we can expect to continue to see great things from Michael! In the meantime CPT Michael has named a possible replacement for his, so for the time being the COM and I are not accepting any applications while this candidate is considered. If things change I’ll notify everyone immediately.

The ASF CS is currently working on some ideas for making the ASF stronger and to encourage growth once again. Our sister ships have been through a lot in recent months, and I now call on everyone serving on the ISD Intrepid to band together to aid the ASF in building towards a new future!

I want to remind everyone that if you believe you are having a problem with a FL or CMDR within Wing XIV I expect to be notified of this problem immediately. The COM and I have a set “Open Door” policy and welcome any pilot who has a problem to come forward and allow us to handle the matter. I trust my CMDR’s, but that doesn’t mean that they aren’t prone to making mistakes. Wing XIV has the reputation of being the most active and fun Wing in the entire TIE Corps, and it is our wish to keep it that way. So before you feel pressured to transfer somewhere else, remember to come talk to the COM and I first. Remember, your morale is our number one priority! J


Bad Joke of the Week


A Polish lad married a Canadian girl after he had been in Canada a year or so and, although his English was far from perfect, they got along very well until one day he rushed into a lawyer's office and asked him if he could arrange a divorce for him - "very quick." The lawyer said that the speed of getting a divorce would depend on the
circumstances and asked him the following questions:

LAWYER: Have you any grounds?

POLE: Ja, Ja, an acre and half.

LAWYER: Does your wife beat you up?

POLE: No, I'm always up before her.

LAWYER: Is your wife a nagger?

POLE: No, she white.

LAWYER: Why do you want this divorce?

POLE: She is going to kill me.

LAWYER: What makes you think that?

POLE: I got proof.

LAWYER: What kind of proof?

POLE: She bought a bottle at the drug store, and put on shelf in bathroom. I can read - it said "Polish Remover"

· The Wing Commander has a new email address (WilStriker@kc.rr.com)!
· CPT Michael has announced that he is resigning as CMDR of Diamondback Squadron after 6 months of loyal service. He will remain as a FM in Wing XIV!
· Copperhead vs. Krayt Squadron Competition has officially ended! Squadron CMDR’s will release the results to their respective Squadrons once the final scores have been tabulated!
· LT Chris Cox has been appointed the new FL of Viper Flight II!
· Belated Happy Birthday wishes to Blade! Sorry Blade, I was in the process of moving when your birthday came around so I missed posting the announcement. In any event Happy Birthday to a great pilot!! J

· The Tactical Office is looking for a new Tactical Coordinator for XvT/BoP. The description of this auxiliary position is available in the Tactical Manual.
Requirements:
· Current or former member of the Tactical Staff with proven skills
· Must own XvT and BoP, knowledge in XvT/BoP mission creation
· Good IRC presence and fast email response
· Ability to work under high pressure (i.e. Mike)
· Ability to lead the team of testers/engineers
· Must agree to serve a minimum of TWO months as TCC:XvT. Failure to do so would ban you from any further position within the Tactical Staff.
