WELCOME TO WING V, THE HAMMER'S HELLFIGHTERS!

From today i will be implementing something that has not been done since VA Proton was WC of Wing V. From today Airlock#21 will be closed until further notice.
Until i see a respectful amount of increase in activity from Wing V, the Wing V drinking hole will be closed and guarded. This includes myself, so the whole of Wing V will be barred from entering until i see improvment from everyone.
Wing V has always been a place of fun, and it has always been to fly hard & party hard, now i know that alot of people have RL in the way, that includes me, but over the next week i intend to fly when i can, or send dribble over the mailing list...........which has dried up lately, any activity i will be doing when i can and i hope you will all too, we need to make Wing V more attractive to cadets and pilots through the fleet, i want pilots to say Wing V is `the` wing to be in, so i ask you members of Wing V, look at the comps for December, try and fly them and get some flying time done if you can & communicate!
Just think, i will be sober from now on and a Sober Sicky is something to be reckoned with, do yourselves proud and get that Airlock#21 open soon..........before it`s too late!

Jack's Ultimate Scramble (FCHG Comp)
Nov. 1st: Competition begins at midnight no matter your time zone.
Every Wednesday after: Progress reports to be handed out
11:59:59 December 31st: Final battles to be received
January 1-4: final scores posted, Wing Champions determined
January 5th, The Final Showdown: The six Wing Champions compete in the ultimate test, it has been decided that if all pilots have XWA, the Showdown will be held in #Airlock54 at 17:00 EST (5:00 PM)
Now the Rules:
1. All battles must be received between the exact times of 00:00:00 November 1st and 23:59:59 December 31st
2. Wing Champions must respond to the Showdown invitation on January 4th (seperate from the final scores) or else Wing Runner-Ups will be declared Wing Champions
3. All pilots should submit at least 4 battles and/or free missions each week
4. Battles previously flown for database may be reflown for the competition.
Regulations:
1. Absolutely no person may use invulnerability or unlimited weapons unless I rule it nessacery to use them
2. Any battle found using the above violation will not be counted for anything and will be stricken from the record
3. Wing Champions must participate in the Final Showdown.

Many people are getting close, but so far nobody has gotten the theme correct and nobody has been able to describe what the things/people that don't belong in NL covers #74, #75, and #76 are.
Mission skipping...

..is only allowed in case of a bug preventing the mission from being completed, which is extremely rare. From now on I will strictly apply the current cheating policy, and I will cancel any BSF with some mission skipped where 1/ there is no mention of a bug or 2/ for which no bug report has been submitted (which are to be submitted before submitting the pilot file), without any notification (until the database supports such a nice feature); the concerned battle or mission will be simply removed from your combat record. Furthermore, I am seriously considering forbidding skipping missions for ANY reason, as I have noticed too many abuses of this policy. If a mission has got a high score, maybe should you consider the possibility that someone did complete it and thus that the mission can be completed.

Just a quick update. The process of approving and rejecting uniforms on tiecorps.org is now the sole responsibility of the Operations Office. The process of approving and rejecting new banners on tiecorps.org is now the responsibility of the Flight Office.
If your banner won't load for some reason, please e-mail the Executive Officer Sector Admiral Kawolski a copy of the banner and a copy of the error message displayed. (If you get a generic 500 error, turn off "Show Friendly HTTP Error Messages" under Tools->Internet Options->Advanced->Browsing and try again)
