Wing XIX


WC's Office: Fellow Pilots, Commanders, WC's, Commedores, and such. I owe you all a deep apology. I've been a louse since taking command. I haven't upheld my obligations. While I can site many reasons for this it doesn't matter because before I should let my wing suffer if my RL life is busy or whatever I should step down, but this is not even the case. The suffering ends HERE and NOW. Many of my commanders have taken a laxed possition and let thier squads deteriorate. NO MORE. Some commanders have done thier duty even without thier wing commander and I commend you for that. CM Steele BrightSaber you are one such commander with wich I hold in high esteem. Squadron reports are to be on my desk every wednesday. I can understand things happening once in a blue moon but for commanders there will be a point system. Points are bad. You get a point for missed squadron reports. Every 2 months the system will reset. if you recieve 2 points you will be asked to step down. Also I want awol checks done immediately.
Folks. This Wing will not take 2nd place to any wing. I will not tolerate laziness. I can tolerate fun, but laziness and fun are 2 different things.
Commander's let me know what competitions you have going at the moment because we are going to start some great wing competitions. I would like to start a squadron multiplayer league. This will pit Squadron against Squadron. It will be ran tournament style. It will be more realistic with missions of offense and defense for both squadrons. Best 2 out of 3. A mission will be decided on a week in advance. I need to communicate with Commanders more on specifics with this to get this set up and established. Mail me on your ideas.
Even in spite of my laxedness this wing has still been a good wing with many bsf's and IWATS. We're going to start a monthly counter in December and count what we do each month. We'll record it and try and beat it for next month. The mp academy is a good thing to get into. I'll be around to help train people. Good tools to have a Roger Wilco which will allow in game vioce communication. It's free and can be downloaded at www.rogerwilco.com . This will probabaly be essential in the squadron mp league once it is established. I also want to have more MP training done. I know we have the ATF academy but I want to train members myself. I will pick a person to train each month and go over things with them. They can share what I teach with other members.
While I haven't been contacting many of you many of you haven't communicated with me. I don't care if your a flight member leader or a commander. I want communitcation. If you come up with good ideas let me know. If you want to talk about anything let me know. it doesn't have to be a problem. Maybe your brother won an award at school and your pround of him. Let me know. We'll post it on Wing news. Lets open some communications. We're not just a wing we're a family.
