Wing IX, ISD Relentless
“The Fighting Ninth”

TIE CORPS NEWS: Both Wing XX and Wing X have new commanders. Looks to have been a quiet week in the Corps on the whole. Your WC reports, you decide. For the latest information, check out http://www.tiecorps.org/news.asp.

WING NEWS: With the approach of the holiday season, I’d like to wish each member of the Wing the best of fortunes for the coming year. I’d also like to announce that the entire Wing will be considered “on leave” from December 24 through January 1. Fly if you want, and check in with your commanders from time to time. But also take some time to be with family and friends. You’ve all come a long way since I took command of the Wing, and you’ve earned your leave. I’ll actually be on leave from December 22 through December 27.

Just a reminder for commanders: this month (and most likely in the future) we WILL be using an automated form for generating MSEs. It’s located at http://www.isdcolossus.org/relentless. Take a look at it, and send a test MSE if you like. This should make putting the MSE together much easier, and we’ll be using this month to find areas that might need to be changed. So get over there, look it over, and make your comments now.

One final note: CHEATING! DON’T DO IT! It’s been proven to cause acne in lab rats, as well as a really bad rash once the chain of command gets done chewing on your backside. It’s also a one-way ticket OUT of Wing IX. We will not cheat, nor tolerate those among us who do.

SQUADRON ACTIVITIES: Hammer and Shield squadrons continue to run neck-and-neck in their quest for the title of Wing Commander’s Own. But Sword has come on strong due in great part to the flying effort of LT Jaydar. There’s still about one week of good flying time left. Make it count.
