Wing VI Closes
This week Wing VI on the SSSD Sovereign was closed down. Pilots were from that wing were distributed all over the ship, and Colonel Gen Es'mith earned the Wing 1 WC spot.

New Flag Officer Promotions

Imperial Storm Date is Determined

New Multiplayer Competitions
The Combat Operations Office is proud to announce the release of two new weekly Multiplayer competitions for pilots to participate in. The first is the Sovereign Nighthawk Competition, which will take place Fridays from 3:00 PM EST - 6:00 PM EST in #EHCOC. Second, the popular competition Thursday Night Training will be returning in a new form, Saturday Night Training, which will be held on Saturdays from 8:00 PM EST - 11:00 PM EST in #EHCOC. I hope to see everyone there to help make these new competitions a success! For all our MP gurus on the ship go have fun at these new events and kick some butt for the Immortal.

New HCI Site

Internet Guidelines
The Internet Office, FA Ari, released a new set of guidelines for EH related webpages. For the whole spill go to http://www.ehnet.org/guidelines.php.
Here is the list of rules:

Sites MUST have links to the EH Disclaimers
(http://www.emperorshammer.org/disclaim.htm) and EH Privacy Policy
(http://www.emperorshammer.org/privacy.htm) pages displayed on the main page
of their site or on the navbar.
Sites may NOT use tsx.org as a redirection service.
Obviously, all sites must abide by Bylaws and AoWs.
Sites who do not obey these rules will not be linked to by any major EH site.
Webmasters who do not comply after being asked to may be subject to Security
Officer action.
The Internet Officer reserves the right to add rules to these at any time.
Strong Suggestions:

Sites with excessively long URLs should consider domain redirection provided
by http://www.stardestroyer.org.
All sites should be compatible with the latest version of major browsers (IE
6 and Netscape 6).
Sites should preferably be optimized for 800x600 resolution, but if it is
necessary, 1024x768 is also acceptable.
A good idea is to run your site through the W3C HTML Validator
(http://validator.w3.org/) and CSS Validator
(http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/).
Do not have unnecessary large images, popups, or Java applets on your page.
They slow down loading time tremendously.
A warning about using MS Word and older versions of Frontpage to create
websites: they add in large amounts of unnecessary tags, which slow down
loading times.

With the arrival of LCM Atican from the reserves, Falcon Squadron grew to 12 members. The max a squad can have. Let's see who can be the next squadron to accomplish this task.

The JunkYard
The Emperor's Hammer has a new Highly Secret training area called the
"Junkyard". The Junkyard is a massive construction site hidden in an asteriod
field and designed to accomodate the recycling of metals for use by the
Emperor's Hammer. The rings form a giant, flexible conduit that adjust to the
changing distances between the asteriods. But those rings can also be used as a flying arena..exactly what we are going
to use them for. LCM Crsepe has been working hard to get this up and running. Only thing he

Night of the Lost Souls
Thursday is "The Night of the Lost Souls". The ISD Immortal multiplayer competition will take place from 20 GMT to 22 GMT (15:00 - 17:00 EST) and will be held on #ISD_Immortal and #EHCOC (Undernet servers).

Anyone who flies 30 missions in one week will be rewarded an ISM, and anyone who flies 75 will be rewarded a PC. This week LT Nicolaas Vlieghe stepped up to the challenge and flew over 100 missions. Who will be next?

Imperial Technology Commission Banner Competition

For the newly created Imperial Technology Commission, a division that will
serve the EH with downloads of demos and some programs as well as reviews for
the EH's members.

The comp is to design a banner for the website, a normal banner (400x40
pixels). Try to have it reflect technology...

Imperial Technology Commission Site Layout Competition

In conjunction with the Imperial Technology Commission (ITC) Banner comp, a
new comp is being created to make the best design for the new ITC database.

You may make your site designs in HTML, Java, whichever you know how to do.
If it's in asp or php it would be even better!

Also, if you can put the layout onto a site to be viewed, it would be
excellent!

The winner's design will be used for the ITC database page.

Well.... this week I will reflect on my region of the United States. (Folks in the USA will understand this, you guys in the other parts of the world, just ask Good'ole Arso to explain it to ya)

A North Carolina redneck passed away and left

They have just raised the minimum drinking age
in Tennessee to 32!! It seems they want to keep
alcohol out of the high schools.

It's true! In Mississippi reruns of Hee Haw
are called documentaries.

Tennessee has a new $3,000,000 State Lottery.
Yeah, the winner gets $3 a year for a million years.

Recently, the Governor's Mansion in Little
Rock, burned down. In fact, it pert'near took out
the whole trailer park.

A law recently changed in North Carolina and
now states: When a couple gets divorced, they're
still brother and sister.

An Alabama State Trooper stopped a pickup
truck. He asked the driver, "Got any ID?" The driver
said, "Bout what?"
