A. We have a pending competition against Hope Wing. It’s a free mission pitting our wing
against their wing. It takes off in May.
B. The RatPack vs Wing VI comp TC-191. Squadron Commanders, you have until April 8th to
fly it.
C. Unofficial Wing Commander vs the Wing comp. You choose the free mission.

1. Weekly Tidbits
Reward: For identity and apprehension of the person holding or using the nick of LT_SA on
mIRC. He logged on and sent: “What’s the difference between Wing VI and a fan?” His answer
was that a fan doesn’t suck.
Of course he’s wrong, because a fan has to suck the air in the backside in order to blow.
My feeling is that he should either be made the zombie-doll mascot of Wing VI, the permanant
reflector mirror clean up crew of the Sov’s axial laser, or perhaps commander of Zeta Squadron.
We still have pickled beets in the vending machines but I have threatened to replace them with fun
things to drink.

If you have prospects that want to come into the Wing, you need to email the FO, and CC the
pilots, CMDR, WC and heck even the COM. Let’s expedite these transfers as much as we can.

2. WING NEWS AND STATUS
A. MSE’s and Reports
I have received this weeks squadron reports from Koph, Tav and Shin squadrons, Resh should be
in tomorrow. Please remember to turn these in as close to Friday or Saturday as possible.
MSE’s have been received for Tav and Shin. Koph is exempt, as is Resh due to new
commanders, and Zeta for no commander.

We have a new mailing list. It is open forum, you can sign up yourself, and remove yourself. The
squadron commanders and myself ARE also moderators so that if need be, we can keep a lid on

Our WEBSITES remain in a sorry state of disrepair. I’m working on Wing VI.

CPT Seth Crimson is named as my Assistant Wing Commander.
CM Iron Mark has been officially assigned as commander of Resh and promoted.
We’re still looking for a commander for Zeta Squadron. If you’re interested or know of friends
or relatives from other wings or squadrons who are interested, please contact me with an
application.
And there are SEVERAL pilots who are pilots in name only and in danger of being declared
AWOL. I am particularly concerned about the number of Sub Lieutenants in this wing. There
shouldn’t be any!!! IF YOU FLY ONE MISSION, you can be promoted. If you’re having
trouble, ask me or your commander for help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your favorite CS is back to active duty !... BSFs and custom submissions have been all processed,
things are back to normal in the Tactical Office. Thanks to the TAC Office members for keeping
the place clean while I was away.
5. WING VI STANDING ORDERS.
A. Communications
i. All members are required to maintain contact with their assigned unit in the TIE Corps with at
least ONE email per month. (This is paraphrased from the TIE Corps Rules and Regulations).
ii. All official communications opening with the term
ID/signature line require a response.
iii. The Wing VI egroup mailing list is an official resource for orders and news of the wing.
However, until this order is rescinded it is also to be used for fun and games. Those that have
problem with the amount of mail that this generates are encouraged to switch their mailing
preference to either daily digest or read on the web.
(DO NOT USE THE egroup TO RESPOND TO OFFICIAL MAIL, REPLY TO THE
SENDER!)
iiii. All members of the wing are encouraged (not required) to get AIM, Yahoo Messenger,
MSM, ICQ or mIRC. I have all of these (and shall have to reinstall mIRC....::grumbles::).
B. Flight Duties
i. At this time, pilots are encouraged to participate in all open competitions and also to do at least
one independant TIE Free Mission a month. ((Again, this is not required.))
C. Reporting Duties.
i. Squadron Commanders are required to submit weekly reports no later than Sunday morning at
11:59am Eastern Standard Time.
ii. Squadron Commanders are required to submit Monthly Squadron Evaluations no later than the
last day of each calendar month.
