Wing IV News

1) The Wing IV Vs Wing V Comp is offically over and we are currently awaiting the results from VA Proton
2) Cheth's Comp with Tav of Wing VI has had to be called off due to machine problems on CPT Evo's part. Hopefully this will be rescheduled at somepoint

3) As you all know MAJ Malik has stood down as Lamed Squadron Commander. But no fear they shall not be without a CMDR for long. Congrats to COL Ricardo (Senile Ex-WC) who has recovered enough to take command once more (pending FO Approval)

4) Just a quick note for you Commander types, its MSE time again, thanks to those of you who have sent me yours already. The rest of you, keep a move one, I wanna get this over and done with ASAP

5) At the moment we are the second biggest Wing on the Sov and our numbers are holding steady for the moment. However this doesn't mean that we shouldn't still be recruiting. You know the score on recruitment of Cadets so don't spam them (too much:P)

6) The results from the latest round of the Ratpack returns comp against Wing IV Commanders has been released. An to it would appear that the Ratpack (a bunch of senile deskjockies) ownz j00!!!!!. The scores are below, congrats to CM Philo on his IS-SW for being the higest scoring CMDR from Wing IV

Fleet/Ship News

1) The Prelude to Andevia Comp has been extended by a week, instead of finishing on the 7th March, it is now the 14th March For those of you interested you can get all the details at http://www.imperialacademy.org/comps/prelude/news.asp Its good to see that some of us have already entered various categories :))

2) COM/VA Proton has announced a Free Mission Blast. The missions that you should fly are XWA-FREE 48, or TIE-FREE 191 (my own nasty creation). Files are to be sent to no later than the 21st March. The overall winner will be the lucky recipient of a IS-GW, IS-SW to the second place guy and a IS-BW for 3rd. If you do enter, just cc me in on the mail so I know what is going on.

3) All personnel to your ships! EHTPT: The Emperor's Hammer TIE Pilot Tour, has begun. It is open to all Sovereign pilots. To participate, go here: http://212.242.141.115/ehtpt This also will be linked from the Sov site as soon as COM/VA Proton updates it. The competition is directed by CPT Jens Vigsted and CM Jack Stone; please refer any questions to them.

4) EH Pin Competition

For many of the upcoming conventions taking place because of Episode II, I thought that I would open a new competition for all the members of the Emperor's Hammer. In this, I would like members to come up with a design for a EH jacket pin. It can be any design you want.

5) Conventions Commission Competition

With the creation of the Conventions Commission (CC) I was thinking it would be good to have a official banner as well as splash banner for aofficial site which is in the making. The banner should be the normal size (400x40 pixels). The banner can be any size you want to make it, but please keep in mind that it that it will be on the page page of the CC homepage.

7) Database/Homepage downtime

In order to prepare for the TIE Corps database to move servers, the system will need a few final upgrades before it's able to go anywhere. Sometime this evening, the TC database and homepage will be completely shut down temporarily for these upgrades.

8) New Tactical Staff Database

Thanks to the hard work of Rear Admiral Grail SoulChaser , the Tactical Staff has now a fully functional database, with beta battles and beta testers, at . You can access there the listing of battles in the hands of the Tactical Staff, with their current status, beta reports etc. Right now, most of the staff need to be added, and battles status are not yet accurate. Please give us some time so we can be able to use fully this wonderful new tool.

9) Imperial Storm III will be with us soon. I have already been asking for nominations for the job of TIE Tactician and XWA Tactican. Those of you who have said you are interested let me know which one you would prefer. If you would like to know more about it, mail me and I will send out the job specs :)
