Greetings Wing III, and welcome to the first Wing III report under my command. This week was really interesting, lots of promotions and position changes. Two new squadron commanders and a new Wing commander plus new Flight Leaders and promtions and stuff. Whew, I'm tired already.
Position Changes and Promotions
-Jahan Kalar is the new Wing III WC and has been promoted to Lieutenant Colonel. Drinks are on me!
-Ace Hobbes has been promoted to Lieutenant Commander.
-Eriond Kath'Razzit has been promoted to Lieutenant Commander.
-Vortoq has joined Gimel Squadron and has been promoted to Lieutenant. All right, fresh meat for the Wing III machine.
-Commander Mayk Wolverine is the new Aleth Squadron Commander. Now, if he can only get promoted to Major so Aleth will still have Major jokes...
-Commander Josh Popelka is the new Hey Squadron Commander. Good luck with the funny name squadron, Josh. Since I can no longer make Major jokes, I will have to content myself with starting every e-mail to you with, Hey Josh, or Hey, what's up ;)
-Beth Squadron has lost four pilots due to AWOL. Come on people, try and at least send out an e-mail every once in a while. There's no such thing as too many pilots.
-SL Joel Chase has joined Beth Squadron. Even more fresh meat!
Medals and Awards
-LCM Eriond Kath'Razzit received an MoI for helping to train LT Vortoq. I want to see more of this kind of thing since I do plan on opening Vav up one of these days.
-LT Kash Kadan has been awarded a CoB for his relentless flying efforts.
-CM Mayk Wolverine has been awarded two IS-BWs! One for winning the flying portion of the Wing III Summer Bash and one for getting third place overall. Nice job Wolvie.
-CPT Cal Sinis, LCM Arcanian Stirner and CM Josh Popelka also got an IS-BW each for being third place overall winners. Before you think that getting a medal is too easy, remember that these are the result of months of hard work. So don't think you'll be getting one anytime soon for repainting your ship. Now my ship is a different story.
IWATS Graduates
-LT Sam Booker has completed mIRC 1.
-LC Sequoh Marden has completed ICQ.
-LT Alhana Creed has also completed the ICQ course.
Wing III News
-Commander Mayk Wolverine has announced some changes he plans to make in Aleth Squadron including increased Flight Leader duties.
-Aleth has a new website thanks to CM Wolverine. You can see it at http://aleth.prv.pl
-The Wing III Website now has it's own dedicated server running in my dorm room. I figured that this would be cheaper than paying for hosting, and since I got a great deal on this older computer... Web address is still the same of course.
-Osan'gar is now a Rear Admiral to go with his new position as Lord Ambassador of the EH. Nice job Os (can I get an Admiral's chair?)
-LCM Ace Hobbes has changed his e-mail addy to hobbes@poczta.onet.pl
-LCM Ace Hobbes has created a new Wing III collar, which I am going to submit as the new official Wing III uniform collar. It's attached to this e-mail.
Wing III Activities
Nothing big yet. But keep your flying skills up so you don't forget when the time comes for a competition.
