Wing IV News
1) We are still engaged in a Wing Comp with Wing V. The comp is not over
until the end of the month, so all of those who have't flown yet still have
a time. Maj Halcyon has kindly sent out some tips for ya all. The battle is
TC-TIE 174. We have just 2 days left!!!!
2) The Wing IV Squadron League is in the 5th Round is over, as soon as I
have sent all the files I have over to Riccy the results will be announced.
Participation appears to have been up on the last round, lets see if we can
keep it up
3) Wing IV is still in need of a Doctor and also requires a nurse. If you

Greetings officers of Wing IV. I'm the Senior Medical Supervisor of the SSSD
Sovereign. I'm announcing that the positions of Ship Doctor and Nurse of
Wing IV are open. Now, you might wonder what that positions are, and who the
heck is this guy with the fancy title... :p
Well, what I do is coordinate all the Docs of each wing and keep them active
within their units. Good good, one question answered (kinda :p)
What are Doc and Nurses, and what they do? Well, that's pretty simple. Their
goal is to keep the morale up. How, you might ask. Well, that's up to you.
Organizing comps, starting mail threads, annoying your colleagues with
tasteless jokes, puns, tricks, and whatever you want. Personal styles rule
here. Other of the main duties of a Doc is to greet and guide new pilots,
offering your help to clear any doubts they may have and to listen to any
problem they have. Aahh, problems. That leads to the other big duty of a
Doc. Whenever a problem raises (I.E. a pilot has problems with his CMDR, a
pilot is being annoyed by other, etc) a Doc should be there. He should
listen to the arguments, give advices and try to help the person who asks
for it. As RL Docs, confidentiality is maintained.
The final, more rutinary duty of a Doc is to make a weekly report about
their activity and the overall wing status.
The Nurse is basically an assistant to the Doc, helps him in anything he may
need, and fills in for him when he's unavailable. They basically do the same
as the Docs related to raising morale and newbie guide. Once and then they
have to write a report, too.

5) We have slipped down to 34 pilots in the wing this week, not the lowest
Wing IV has ever been, but its low enough. We are now the joint smallest
Wing on the Sov, along with Wing VI Lets all get recruiting and see if we
can get some new blood into the wing
