WING MOVEMENTS AND PROMOTIONS-

We welcome the following pilots (this never gets boring!)
COL Raith Sienar to Koph Squadron! (With 60 pilot files already!)
SL Dark Zealot to Tav!
SL Kronos Omega to Shin!
(We're back up with 40 pilots! Tied with V and with 2 closed Squadrons!)

Congratulations to the following two pilots for their promotions to LT!
LT Dark Zealot and LT Tonak! Yay!

Congratulations to LT Caster Troy who is now a flight leader, 2-1 in Tav!
CM Jene Starwind has been moved back to an FL position, of 2-1, in Zeta.
LCM Andre Parafonte has been moved to 1-2 in Zeta.
LCM Dandash Fendar has been transferred to Tav, rounding it out to 8 pilots!

However, there is some sad news:
LT Tail Vyast moving to Echo Squadron, Wing XV, ISD Vanguard!
LCM Shockwave is going to the Reserves!
CPT Mauser has gone to the reserves as well.

Congratulations to:
CM Powerslave (Shin) has been awarded the Iron Star - Silver Wings for winning first place in the FCHG Comp!
LT Caster Troy (Tav) has been awarded the Iron Star - Bronze Wings for second place in the FCHG Comp!
LC Andrzej Mezynski (Koph) has been awarded the Iron Star - Bronze Wings for third place in the FCHG Comp!
As well, LC Andrzej Mezynski (Koph) was awared another IS - BW for the Second-highest score in PSIT!

We're gaining on Wing I...GOAL: Most Pilots on the Sov!

(THE NEWS YOU OUGHT TO READ)-

We have reach critical mass in Wing VI. Not the radioactive kind, but the one that happens when you have no room for advancement and the squadrons are full. So, I am happy to annouce the future opening of RESH SQUADRON! So, I am accepting applications, due NO LATER THAN SATURDAY, AUG 25TH! Make 'em good; I wanna be impressed.

There are two TO comps out right now. I want to see submissions for it! One of them is to say why we're the best wing...I know many of you got Wing VI pride, so, if you'd like to submit them, please do. I'll even proofread for you. let's bring GLORY!

Now that our own little wing competition is over, I'd like to see a little more ass-whooping coming from our peaceful wing. Go challenge other squadrons in the TC! Especially on the Sov. =) And for XWA and XvT pilots: go to the Zone and fly against other TC pilots!

I am changing how long WC's Own lasts. It will only be for a month; next one will be announced shortly for September!

Still waiting for LC Reaper of Wing VI to get back to me about our little competition for September...start greasing up those fighters!

SOVEREIGN AND TIE CORPS NEWS:

Congratulations to WC Proton of Wing V who has been promoted to COLONEL!

Koph is having a competition with Omega Squadron! Glory to Wing VI and Koph! Good luck!

The Training Office is running two small competitions. The first one is to come up with a motto for Daedalus. Details are available at http://www.imperialacademy.org/comps/daedalusmotto/).
The other competition is related to which ship, wing and squadron will get to be in the first issue of a cadet newsletter of sorts which the training office will be starting soon. Details of that are at http://www.imperialacademy.org/comps/shamelesspromotion/

As you may or may not know, due to a variety of reasons, the Imperial Storm battles scheduled for last Thursday did not take place. So, they've been arranged for this Wednesday, 15th August @ 11PM GMT / 6PM EST in the channel #project_faithful.
