(Note: Any replies to anything in here should be made to the Colossus Egroups at (isdcolossus@yahoogroups.com) or me individually at (absolutv@isdcolossus.com). Don't just hit Reply all. It is done like this so I can be sure that everyone gets the report)

I guess the begining I should start off by saying I am truely sorry if any of you got caught up in the virus that was sent out because of me. Sometime this past weekend I received a nasty little virus, which caused serious havoc on my computer. Detail on this virus can be seen by going to the above link under the fleet news section. This lil critter was cleared on my computer only after taking 2 days to fix. A reason why this report is seriously late. I do apologize for the inconvenience. I would like to reiterate by saying that if you are unsure if you have it or not, then I suggest you go to that website and review the information. It will help you to determine if you have it or not, just follow the simple steps on that page.

BGAPL - Battlegroups Ace Pilot League
Not been determined yet. I still have to fly it, unfortunately due to that virus, I had more things to worry about it! But if my tfr will not be accepted or I can't have a day extension on it due to that virus reason, then, I'll have no choice but to bow to CPT Darknyte who currently holds the title.

Command Changes
To be exact. Both Mu and Nu squadrons received new CMDR's this past week. Please give a warm congratz to CM Kyle Katarn for Mu, and CM Kodiak Kereban for Nu. So far I've seen a bit of activity from both squadrons which tells me they are both settling into their offices quite nicely. I'm sure there will be more in the weeks to come. Lets just hope they stick around for awhile, I've no desire to find another set of CMDR's to replace them!

Ships Doctor Appointed
None. Reason being is that I believe VA Mell stated that there isn't a reason to have one since he feels its a useless position. However, if the one who sent me the request for that position will talk to our COM he may change his mind. But you better sweet talk him cuz well, HE STILL NEEDS A SHOT! So he might be a bit irritated :P

Shopping List
There isn't a shopping list Since this past week saw the demise of one of our former mates. LCM Crevent Thrawn has all but gave his life for his family and friends and leaving us with nothing more than a memory of him. His wife was deeply saddened by that as well. I thank those of you whom sent out thier best wishes to her, in hopes to give her comfort. I was impressed at the turn out for his burial in the stars. VA Mell did a wonderful job sending his ashes to the stars. Thank you Mell for your support. Now as it were, it is time to get back into action boyz and girls!

Reviews

Egroups
I've seen quite a bit of chatter, and a bit more activity going around, even after we all had a weeks leave. I was somewhat impressed at the continued activity, as I'm sure mell was to. I believe Mell is still having computer probs so if anyone has any personnal problems you may direct them to me. I will handle any ship board stuff if need be until his complete return aboard. Remember if you reply to this Wing Report then please only hit reply and send it to me, or hit reply and add the Colossus egroup addy at (isdcolossus@yahoogroups.com). I can't express this enough. Because if your reply is trivial then the others don't need to see it, as well as being personal.

IRC
Still Average activity there. May even have slowed down a bit recently in light of many finding a RL job or new girlfriends, etc.

GO POST ON THE MB!

Colossus Website
Absolut Vodka has been tinkering yet again, this time you can see what I've done! I'm working on re-doing the Colossus website and so you will see some changes while I make this change over. One thing Don't slam me for putting the Mission Impossible theme on the site. I was just testing something, and, well, it worked! Now I'm gonna be looking for a good SW theme to put on the site. So if anyone has anything to contribute I would greatly appreciate it..

Don't forget, pease if you have any important news what so ever, YOU CAN STILL POST IT TO THE COLOSSUS NEWS PAGE! Use your admin access to post important news, such as squadron comps, new links to GFX you created or whatever. Just don't ramble or say stupid stuff there or Mell will freak and spank you to death!

Academics
Only 1 IWATS course passed by a Colossus Pilot this week..

  1. Pit Viper ----> CBX

And that was it...this is very poor considering the amount of pilots we have onboard, and keeping in mind that most of the pilots are LCM's or below. CMDR's I would like for you to review your people and see what they have and what you would require them to have. Then issue a completion date for the courses you select to be done. Thank you.

BSF's - STATISTICS
Okay I finally got some stats for you all now. Now keep in mind this is starting from this past Moday, as like ai stated in my Wing address, Moday is the start of the week, not Tuesdays as in the past, since Drake didn't require the CMDR,s to have their reports in by Saturday. But like I said this is chaninging and will be dealt with accordingly. Anyway onto the overall stats for the Wing.

  • Total BSF's: 43

  • Total Missions: 172

Not bad for an overall count, for the past week it even went up by 10 missions overall as compared to last week. Squadron and pilot breakdown coming up.

Top 5 Pilots of the Week
Since I now have some stats to go on here are the Top 5 Pilot of the week showing their BSF stats:

  1. LT Jace Vallor: 9 BSF's, 43 missions

  2. LCM Pit Viper: 4 BSF's, 22 missions

  3. LT Dave Darklighter: 4 BSF's, 19 missions

  4. LT Jacob Racke: 8 BSF's, 19 missions

  5. CM NightGrue: 4 BSF's, 18 missions

My congratz to LT Jace Vallor in winning the POW (Pilot of the Week) award. He made an outstanding show this week!

Top 5 Pilots of the Month
There will be a delay for this one. Since I haven't had the time yet to review all pilots tfr's so far this month but will be in by next week promise.

Top Squadron of the Week
Everyone congratulate Nu Squadron, as they take the SOW (Squadron of the Week) award taking it with gaining an overall 68 completed missions. Alittle knowledge though, Omicron came in a strong second with 43 total missions, and that was without a CMDR, and only from one pilot!

Top Squadron of the Month
Mu still retains the BGCOM's squadron of the month award. For the Colossus overall (SOM), well you'll just have to wait until then end of the month to find out!

Squadron Summaries

Mu Squadron. Mu has been it would seem reluctant again! Only to fall back a few slices shor of a full bread basket. But now with their latest arrival, SL Anna Fox, makes Mu the largest squadron onboard. I would hope that now we will see a great improvement for activity. They have a new CMDR, a new recruit, making Mu squadron one of the youngest (green) group of pilots onboard the Colossus. I think we'll see some great stuff coming from Mu in the near future.

Nu Squadron. After a time I thought that Nu was slowing down I was wrong! they have increased their tempo and pulled ahead to take the Squadron of the week this week! It would seem as though they were sleeping for a while, and now have awakened to show their true Nu colors! Good job guys!

Pi Squadron. Well in the wake of disaster, it would seem the only active pilot this past week was the one and only CM Avantar. Unlike the rest of the squadron, he managed to pull out 3 BSF's for the week. 2 of those waiting for TAC approval for high scores! my hats off to ya Avi! Good job!

Omicron Squadron. Once again without a CMDR. Omicron has had its ups and downs lately, seems as though no one really wants to command her. Hmm...is it coincidence or is it memorex? Well Omi did manage to pull out a few BSF's this week. Congratz goes out to LT Jace Vallor for leading the way. he pulled off an amazing 9 BSF's for a total of 43 missions, being the only to bring the squadron to second place for the squadron of the week. Another good job, I take my hat of to you as well. Keep up the good work!

Eta Squadron...and now we make it to the Assassins. Are they still alive? I mean compared to last week and blowing the doors off the other squadrons in the running for squadron of the week. Have they lost their umph? Will they slow down again? Or they just waiting for repairs to their ships before going back into battle? Hmm...guess we'll see what next week brings.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Miscellanous
Well, in closing I'd like to say that originally this past week was going well for me. But it ended abruptly when a virus slapped me in the face. Causing me several days of grief and taking 2 days to clear up. My, my what things happen when you let your guard down even for a second! It looks as though overall we may be seeing a rise in activity. Of course for those CMDR's who just receive new (green) recruits, I guess you know the rest right?

Like let's get them to a full LT! thats right, Mu and Pi get off your duffs and get those pilots on the move! We need veteran pilots here and the only way to do it by training. So get hoppin! One more thing, did I say we got new recruits? Hmm....must mean there is a bit of recruiting activity out there. Well lets see some more of it. Thoe more Colossus members we have the better. Just remember the rules for recruiting. I fyou have any questions, give me a call, send me an e-mail, and I'll give you your worldly advice. Until next week...
