Introduction

Welcome everyone to another Wing III report, take yourself a seat and listen up. We've quite a lot of
news to cover this week and the quotes are longer than ever - well at least under my command... Great
work!
I'm also glad to report that Ferret is finally back home - he was found in an empty supply room and I
have no idea what he did there... Since then I've tried to teach him that rank insignias are not tasty
and not something for him to eat, but he won't understand. (I assume it's the shiny metal that
attracts him, so be careful!) Luckily (for me) Osan'gar voluntated to look after Ferret the next week
anyway, so he can keep trying ;)
Wing III News
------------------
- We have a new Daleth Commander! Dark Angel has been appointed to command Daleth Squadron and has
also been promoted to CM! Congratulations and good luck, I'm sure you'll do some great work! Drinks
are on DA!
- This week we've gained two new pilots! Please all welcome CM Etras Aglen and SL Syntax to Wing III!
Your first drink in our cantina is on me - the rest is on CM Dark Angel...
- Round two of the SovTopGun Competition ended today. LT Arcanian Stirner, CPT Cal Sinis, CM Dark
Angel and MAJ Osan'gar qualified for it during the last round - I hope all of you submitted a score to
GN Devin!
- Wing III Survivor Challenge update! Still only two, maybe three people voted for a winner :-( If
that doesn't change ASAP, I'll decide the winner based on how many points the Survivors accumulated
during the Challenges... I'm not going to repeat all the voting details yet again, check last week's
report or the report before for more information.
- We now have an official website! It's located at http://wing3.cjb.net... MAJ Jahan Kalar has been
awarded an IS-SR for the creation of this page and MAJ Osan'gar recieved an IS-BR for his good
second-place entry. Congratulations!
- The SovMan competition for which you've to design a fancy dress for SovMan, our local superhero is
still on until June 15th!
- Unfortunately LC Joe (Wing VI) and GN Ricardo (Wing IV) stepped down from their positions as WC
during this week... that's a huge loss for their Wings and the whole Sovereign - you'll be missed! I
wish best of luck to both of you!
- ImpStorm II news: We'll need some Tactical Officers and Fleet Pilots as soon as possible. Check
www.btinternet.com/~spellfire/imp_rules.html for a description of the Tactical Officer's duties.
- Regular Wing III meetings are held in #wing_iii on Undernet at 6 pm GMT / 1 pm EST every Sunday and
although attendance is changing every week these are much fun, so try to attend whenever possible!
I was there last week and therefore can present you the log this week, everything was a bit screwed up
because of lag, but it was fun nevertheless.

- New EH Bylaw!
"Open Command Staff Positions are typically posted on the Emperor's Hammer Domain Index. All active
Members of the club with no violations registered with the High Court of the Inquisitors are free to
apply for open these Positions. However, If a Member accepts such a position, receives a related Rank
promotion and then resigns in less than 6 months, the Member will be demoted to the Rank they were
before application for the command position.
The Command Staff Positions require the utmost dedication and serious commitment. These volunteer
officers, through their hard work and organization, hold the Emperor's Hammer together. Members
frivolously applying for and then resigning from these Positions (i.e. to get a quick jump in Rank)
may be subjected to further inquiry by the High Court of the Inquisitors. "
- Battle Medals and Ribbons! If you have a battle in the Mission Compendium, with a medal listed
either as Nothing, or TBA, please submit medal names (to FA Starlion) ASAP. Please keep in mind that
your medal name must be unique. Also, anyone willing to design Battle ribbons and Medals, please
contact Fleet Admiral StarLion and Fleet Admiral Howlader.
