- We defeated Wing VI -- which never even submitted any results. Any win against a fellow wing is important; be proud, Five!

- RED ALERT II! Wing V Citation Race! Members of the squadron that racks up the most new squadron citations in June will receive medals! Note: The rules may be adjusted to cancel out the effects of mid-month transfers into squadrons that may artificially inflate citation figures.

- RED ALERT III! We're facing the Infiltrator Wing's Shadow Squadron in a six-week event. Two squadrons to go.
I flew TC-TIE free 152 against Shadow CMDR/MAJ Khaen as a postscript to the ongoing comp. He won -- congrats to Khaen.

With the recent spate of folks, with the best of intentions, applying for and being appointed as Command Staff, then resigning within a short time (<6 months), a NEW Bylaws revision is posted and incorporated herein:

Open Command Staff Positions are typically posted on the Emperor's Hammer Domain Index. All active Members of the club with no violations registered with the High Court of the Inquisitors are free to apply for open these Positions. However, If a Member accepts such a position, receives a related Rank promotion and then resigns in less than 6 months, the Member will be demoted to the Rank they were before application for the command position.
The Command Staff Positions require the utmost dedication and serious commitment. These volunteer officers, through their hard work and organization, hold the Emperor's Hammer together. Members frivolously applying for and then resigning from these Positions (i.e. to get a quick jump in Rank) may be subjected to further inquiry by the High Court of the Inquisitors.
This policy shall apply to all Command Staff Positions and Command Attaché Positions effective July 1, 2001.

So, you don't like Ewoks, eh? Really, all Ewoks are, are Shaven Wookies. Without all that hair, they're only about as tall as Yoda.
Speaking of Shaven Wookies... During my leave of absense, I have browsed the black market, and I have purchased a Wookie. For all intents and purposes, he will remain shaven. I have also purchased a specially modified MD droid, equipped with plently of Bic razors and Gilette gel. This Wookie will be shaven roughly every other day.
My Shaven Wookie will be the mascot of Flight II upon my return. And, if any of my pilots decides that he doesn't want to participate in Sadhe OR Wing V, then the Wookie will go UNSHAVEN. When I deem appropriate, I will have this not-so-shaven Wookie hug any given pilot, inflicting extreme beard burn upon the unfortunate individual.
So, Flight II pilots, and fellow Wing V officers, you have been warned. All who cross me, or if I just feel like giving in to my Dark Side training more than normal, then you will know the pain of Wookie stubble.
