Introduction
------------------
What a week! Wing III has seen several promotions and a general increase of activity this week! Keep
improving it guys and gals! I'm happy to report a general increase in membership and that we're now
quite far away from being the smallest Wing on the Sov (I feel somewhat relieved - no more time for me
in the Pit for that reason).
Ferret has recently been seen in Hey Squadron barracks and seems to search the company of LCM Josh
(who's graciously volunteered to regularly wash him after he 'cleaned' my office).... Some problems
have been reported with a large shipping of java slaves and a special java from Wing V, but I believe
these are just rumors. ;)

- There've been two promotions in Beth Squadron! Congratulations go to CPT Cal Sinis, Beth's long
standing flight leader and LCM Psylocke! Both have been rewarded for their continuing service to Beth

As you can see only LT Ryan Tribal got close to to our new Top Gun - you've done some good work as

I'm quite happy with the increase of participation from last week... after all these 13 entries are a
lot more than the three I had last week. ;) Thanks for your participation. Still this is something we
should work on and improve in the next top gun contests... 38% is far from perfect!
The next mission for the top gun contest will be released this saturday - you will have two weeks
again to get your files to me.
- The website creation competition continues! While I know some of you are working on something, I've
not recieved any submission so far. The deadline is May 15th, so make sure to get your submission to
me until then!
- Wing III Survivor Challenge update! They're getting fewer....
This was another good week for the Survivors with everyone doing at least something. In the end they
managed to fly 68% of all possible missions and therefore got 6 points each what results in 24 points
in total. They now have 154 points which means the winner will recieve at least an IS-SR! There're
only 46 points left to be gathered until the maximum award of IS-SW will be given out to the last
remaining Survivor!
Voting has finished as well - here are the results!

Here is the challenge for you for round number 6:
First, note that this is the *last* challenge! The sole objective this time is "be active"! Almost
everything can earn you points here. Fly missions and you'll get a third of your new FCHG points
converted to medal points, write fiction (200 words+) and get up to 5 points (or even more in case
it's *really* good), design a good mission and get up to 6 points, win the triva on Sunday is worth 1
point or moderate triva on Sunday and get 0,5 points (we may have more than one 10-question triva, I
want to get a log from every Survivor that shows up to the meeting, please). Other things may get you
points as well, just do them and let me know.
Remember that this is the last challenge and that you still need 46 more points until the winner will
be awarded an IS-SW, so the average Survivor might want to try to get 16 points? ;)

- Apart from winning the Top Gun contest LT Arcanian Stirner was also awarded an ISM for the
exceptional amount of activity he's shown since he joined our Wing! Congratulations again, LT Stirner!
- Beth's Combat Readiness Test ended and Beth got a new Combat Response Rate of 3 with over 70%
participation. Nice work!
- Wing III meetings are held in #wing_iii on Undernet at 6 pm GMT / 1 pm EST every Sunday. Attendance
to last Sunday's meeting was quite good.. we had announcements and triva hosted by CPT Cal Sinis..
With three points LCM Josh won this weeks triva followed by LT Bash with two right answers. As always
I strongly recommend you try to attend to these meetings just to have some fun, in case the time
doesn't suit you, email me... :)
Unfortunately it's very unlikely that I'll be able to make it this week - I'm quite sure I'll drop by
for some time though...
