Wing XV Report #9 - 04.01.01

Pilot's Lounge

At the Main Menu, I placed the picture of George Lucas in the photocopier machine beside the terminal.

Suddenly, I saw a bloster bolt hit a tree nearby, I immediately jumped for cover in a nearby bush.
I peered out to see Droole being taken away by some men in purple uniforms carrying blasters.
Deciding to help out Droole, I followed the guards, and after short time, we came to a complex.
Upon approaching it, I noticed a large "Lucasarts" sign above a stairway, which went downward to the inside.
I walked down the stairway and came into a circular area, going to the right I came upon a door.
Glancing around it, I saw a red button beside the closet and pushed it, revealing what appeared to be a Janitor's uniform and mop.
I stepped inside the closet and shut the door behind me.
After thirty seconds, I was dressed in full Santation Engineers Uniform, mop in hand.
Walking a bit more down the hallway, I noticed another door and walked inside it.
It turned out to be... A massive accounting department, with a huge maze of cubicles.
Walking in to the entrance to the cubicle, one of the accountants looked up from his terminal and said, "Thank god you're here, you can mop my floor!"
Just great, Khadgar, Wing Commander of Wing XV, Cardinal and all around nice guy, mopping the floor for an accountant at Lucasarts.

After mopping the floor, I proceeded on through the maze of cubicles and had to mop many floors (The things I do for the Empire :P).
Eevntually, a room with a terminal, a photocopier and a picture of George Lucas on the wall.
I decided to access the terminal...

Welcome to Lucasarts...

"Lord no, Option 6, please."

At the Main Menu, I placed the picture of George Lucas in the photocopier machine beside the terminal.
After doing so, I went back to the terminal.

"Option 3"

Photocopy in progress...

I removed the photocopied picture of George Lucas, replaced the real one, and went down the hallway more... And you guessed it, came to yet another door.
I approached the door and it said "Please varify your indentity.
I placed the George Lucas picture on a black screen beside the door, and the door slid open...

To be continued!

From the Wing XV Monastery:

    Fiction/Graphics Competition
    Deadline: March 25, 2001
    URL: http://isdvanguard.emperorshammer.ca/vifc/

    Vanguard Interactive Battle
    Next Deadline: Unknown
    URL: http://www.gimmie.tudelft.nl/homes/blok10b/ender/vib/
Description: "The Wing XV Commander will add a piece of a story to his wing reports, together with a XWA Mission based on that part of the story. Participating Pilots in the wing send in their pilot files of that mission to their CMDRs - including a short written fictional account of their experiences in the mission. The CMDRs check the pilot files, forward the scores, the reports and their own files to the Commodore and Wing Commander and include the best fiction of their squadron in their weekly reports. The best fiction in the wing will be taken up in the wing report, arranged into "propaganda"-type news coverage. Medals are awarded to the best flying and to the best writing but also to outstanding activity like helping to run this competition. Flying and fiction both influence the story, and so the missions: the Pilots' performance in one mission has consequences on the next mission they'll fly. Making this a true Interactive Battle with a flexible story line, centered around the ISD Vanguard and it's Squadrons."
Status: The first turn winner were rewarded, Ender said he will do the ViB related things in his COM Report. We are in need of XWA Mission designers, contact Ender MBind if interested.
