Design a Logo Competition! (By GA Ronin)
With the recent letter from LucasFilms to cease and desist using the "Imperial Icon" on Emperor's Hammer Gear, the Fleet Commander announces a NEW contest open to ALL Members of the Emperor's Hammer. The contest will center on the design and posting of a new distinctly EH logo for possible use on EH Gear.
The requirements for this new EH Logo are posted as follows:

• The design can NOT infringe on any existing LucasFilms copyrights (that means you can't use existing Star Wars imagery, pics, logos, etc.
• The design shall be 600x600 dpi resolution
• The design shall have the basic design posted below and shall prominently feature our WWW site address - www.emperorshammer.org.
• The idea here is to be creative and come up with ORIGINAL ideas...NO variants of the Imperial Icon please...:)

Please submit your images to the Fleet Commander (GA Ronin). Due to the importance and prominence of this logo, the winner, as determined by Fleet Commander (GA Ronin), will be awarded a Grand Order of the Emperor (GOE) Medal !

Naval Corps Closure
The Fleet Naval corps is closing and all pilots within have to find new homes. All NC Clones will be sent to the reserves. We are already reaping the benefits of this, A pilot has joined us from the Naval corps, more about that later.

Mr/Miss EH 2001
Its time to nominate who you would like to be see be made Mr/Miss EH! There are a few rules to follow for this process that can be viewed at http://www.wam.umd.edu/~manesh/ehmrmiss2001.htm . Mell's getting my vote.... in the Miss EH catagory :P

Exercise Cantina Run - Phase II Results
A better round for us this time, we achieved an participation ratio of 80% and Mell claimed third place! Congratulations to him!

CM Lord Linkan has also made a BoP mission which he requires testing. As a mission-maker myself, I know its an important phase in producing a mission to have it tested. If anyone can help him out i'm sure it would be well appreciated.

IRC
IRC has been playing up all week. Unstable connections and terrible lag. But LT Darknyte increased his lead slightly over me. Funniest story of the week goes to LCM Kalve Ryder who re-salute'd Wyldefyre and reset all his stats!

Message Boards
We past 200 posts earlier this week on our message board. Im hoping that reaching 300 is not to far away.. (Hint Hint)

Academics
Mu Pilots proved to be the Colossus brainboxes this week with LCM Mystery Ace passing Tie Tactics, Visual Basic and Squadron Management and LT Luckoy passing mIRC 1 and 2!

BSF's
With a week and a bit to go before the end of the month we are looking good for at least 200 BSF's! Most of this is down to one pilot, LT Darknyte, going nuts in Mu...

Mu were pushed VERY close this week by a rejuvinated Eta under the command of CPT Devlin. As you will see...

Squadron Summaries
I thought I'd make a change here from now on.. and assign my Squadron of Week.

Mu Squadron were almost caught by Eta earlier in the week, in fact Eta were ahead at one point. Slipping are you?.. Probably not. LT Darknyte is still going nuts and is on course for his target of 100 BSF's this month. They gained another new pilot too.. I look forward to his promotion.

Pi Squadron now have a new Commander, A new Website in production, a New banner, a new motto.. but still no squadron report :P I am very pleased with the work that has been put in during Mr Unpronouncable's first week in command. On a rather different note, I AWOLed two pilots from Pi this week, one being a good friend of mine. Neither had bothered to do any work for the ECR at all. Let this be a warning to all of you.

Omicron Squadron, grrr no report :( They look set to finish there long-awaited run on and their new SL got promoted! Erm.. Care to fill me in on the rest DS?

Eta Squadron are once again proving they have a thirst for blood. The assasins got a new pilot (one thats good enough for me to respect).. Welcome aboard LCM Night Grue! They also achieved 100% submission in the ECR (CM Nic Rety being on long-term leave).. Congrats guys! You have earned Squadron of the Week!

Beta Testers
Over the coming months I am going to be releasing some new, quality missions and I require people who are experienced beta-testers to fly them. They are all for TIE and mostly have the Colossus in there...somewhere. If your interested in assisting, contact me.

Web Sites
CM Absoult Vodka is still offering website hosting for the squadrons on the Colossus. If no one in your squadron can make one, contact me and AV and we'll see what we can do.
