Aboard the ISD Grey Wolf...
 
MAJ Brucmack strolled the familiar corridors of the ISD Grey Wolf with a slightly unfamiliar feeling... a feeling of responsibility.  Having avoided line promotion beyond CMDR for a year, this whole "Wing Commander" thing was new and exciting to him.  He glanced in a squadron barracks as he walked by: Tartarus Squadron.  Woobee could be seen, upside down as usual, chatting with some of his squadron members.  I've got good CMDRs here, thought Brucmack.  It wasn't always a usual thing for CMDRs to be socially active with their squadrons, but Brucmack had no trouble.  Another barracks: Vortex.  Another upside down CMDR, and this one fresh into the position.  Brucmack passed by the other barracks with growing pride in the officers of the ship.  I think this is going to be quite enjoyable, he was thinking.  But then he got back to his own room.  Gah, another 20 simulator reports, will they never quit?  Deep down, however, he hoped they never would.
 
News
  • As you should be aware, I, Brucmack, am now your WC.  If this shocks anyone then use the message boards :)
  • You probably also know that your former WC, COL Vitcarp, is now BGCOM, VA Vitcarp.  Congrats!
  • CM Xura Verr is the new CMDR of Phoenix!
  • CM Mace is the new CMDR of Vortex!
  • Flight Leader positions in Vortex and Phoenix are open.
  • The new Iron Star system is officially in effect.  It is mainly for single player comps, but I'm sure you'll be seeing it soon in our wing comps :)  For a full description refer to the email from the Training Officer that you all should have received.
  • The Tactical Officer is looking for tactical staff... CA-TAC is open, along with three XvT beta testers and four XWA beta testers.  If you are interested, contact Admiral Starlion.
  • In related news, Admiral Starlion is the new Tactical Officer :P
  • A notice for everyone using AbsoluteK's hosting services or trying to access them...  The vanity domain names (i.e. squadron.org) are not working properly, so use http://www.emperorshammer.ca/<username>, where the username is what would usually go in front of the vanity domain (i.e. <username>.squadron.org).  For example, access the Grey Wolf website (which I should update next week :P) from http://www.emperorshammer.ca/isdgreywolf
  • Related to the webpage... I will have something up next week, including the new medallions that Cyric mentioned in his COM report :)
  • As Cyric hinted at in his COM report, there are a couple of competitions in the works, so we'll keep you posted when anything is finalized :)
