- Leroy the jawa carried a starfighter emblem generator from TIE to TIE along the Wing V flight line. He paused at each fuselage and added a symbol and text in bold silver and gold to each Wing V craft. The excitable jawa licked his lips, chittered and hopped with enthusiasm.
LC Proton and the assembled CMDRs beamed with pride as they followed the jawa across the hangar, examining his handiwork.
The emblems announced this honor: "TIE Corps Commander's Award, Wing V."
- In recognition of this holiday weekend, let it be declared as "Alms for the inactive and unfocused" in Wing V. (See the pertinent exchange below in Orators of Airlock 21, LOL.) WING NEWS - AWARDS
- Wing V was named the latest TIE Corps Commander's Award winner! I've been buying a lot of drinks in the Airlock all week since this excellent news was delivered. It's great to be the WC of a wing filled with such dedicated officers.
The announcement by FO/FA Priyum Patel: "After some consideration and discussion with my CA, I've decided that the TIE Corps Commander's Award for the month of March should go to Wing V. Lieutenant Colonel Proton impressed both of us by the way in which he ran his Wing - reports were always in on time, morale and activity is high. Of particular note was the fact that the Wing is continually kept flying battles and missions - especially against other Wings in several competitions, which is something to be encouraged throughout the Fleet. Congratulations to Proton and the pilots of Wing V !"

WING NEWS AND STATUS
- RED ALERT! April wing contest: Wing V vs. Wing II! All pilots, fly TC-TIE Battles 64 and 65. CMDRs, compile your squadrons' results and submit them to me by April 30. Overall laserless scoring total will determine the winner. The top pilot in each wing will receive the Iron Star-Silver Wings; runnerup will get the Iron Star-Bronze Wings.
- RED ALERT II! We're facing the Infiltrator Wing's Shadow Squadron in a six-week event in which Shadow will take turns each week against one of our squadrons, then another, etc., flying a different TIE free mission each time. Our CMDRs and pilots are excited to have an opportunity to grind a subgroup squadron into unrecognizable space debris. >:)
