CPT Phoenix Berkana (Cheth) has been promoted to Major!
LT Diablo (Cheth) has been promoted to Lieutenant Commander!
LCM Badger (Teth) has been promoted to Commander!
LT Furbo (Zayin) has been awarded an Iron Star-Copper Ribbon (First Wing IV pilot ever to earn an Iron Star!! ;)
MAJ Mini Minkus has earned a Medal of Tactics- Green Hammer.
CM Xander Drax (Zayin) has been awarded an Imperial Security Medal.

WING NEWS:

1) Round 2 of the Iron Star competition is technically over. I will give you a day or so to fudge, but I want the entries ASAP!! Send your FREE-TIE 137 .tfrs to myself and your CMDR ASAP. Remember, the pilot with the highest total score at the end of the three rounds will earn a Bronze Star with a Bronze Ribbon. The Squadron with the best combined participation in Rounds 2 and 3 will earn WC's Own in February.

2) Congratulations to Zayin Squadron, led by CPT Hello, on their defeat of Thunder Squadron of Wing X!! They won 23012.75 to 20058.75, and LT Furbo of Zayin was the high scorer, earning himself an Iron Star with a Copper Ribbon.

3) And Congrats to MAJ Mini Minkus, CMDR of Teth Squadron, on his brand new title, Fleet Baron!!! Mini holds the most high scores in the fleet :) The list for Wing IV is:

4) Earlier in the week, Kaph Squadron was awarded Wing Commander's Own, MAJ Jonathan- CMDR of the Month and CM Xander Drax- Pilot of the Month, congrats again!

5) Hmm.. it's that time of year again.. before too long, spring training for the 2001 baseball season will begin! I'm anxious for it to start myself.. and was wondering if there would be any interest in a Wing IV Fantasy Baseball league?? Just a thought, I know EH Fantasy Football had some Wing IV participators. If I could at least 5 interested pilots, I'd host the league. Anyway.. just thought I might suggest this, as EH Fantasy Baseball never worked out last year. :-)

6) Well, there was a Wing IV Meeting this morning (one actually took place!!). Attendance was okay, despite the short notice that was given ( I sent the announcement last night at about 6:00 PM, but it only went through this morning :\). What took place was largely a lot of good-humored bickering and... other humorous events, plus a couple of announcements :p

7) Wing IV is looking for another wing to have a competition with!! I'd like to have a comp with another wing when the Iron Star comp is over at least :) Any suggestions, pilots?

SHIP/FLEET NEWS:

1) Tonight is Outer Rim night!! Go to the Innernet (type
/server espoo.fi.eu.innernet.org , then /join #outerrim) and fly for the EH! You need an OR Pin # though, (go to http://www.rebelsquadrons.org/outerrim to get one) then you need to email the COO, Zsinj your TC Pin# and your OR Pin # to get started.

2) No news on the Squadron League 2K Playoffs :(

3) EH won 5th place among all clubs in the January XWA Week of War.

4) After the resignation of Admiral Slage, Admiral Keiran Idanian, former CA:FC, is the newly appointed RO. Congratulations.
After the resignation of Admiral Theodore, Command Attaché Admiral Priyum Patel has been promoted to the position of Flight Officer and TIE Corps Commander of the Emperor's Hammer! Congratulations .
Many congratulations to Rear Admiral Andronicus, Commodore of the ISD Relentless, who was today promoted to the rank of Vice Admiral. (I believe Andronicus was at one time a pilot in Yod Squadron, for a short period of time ;)

5) The Executive Officer High Admiral Kawolski has released the new EH Newsletter (#71) for public viewing!
