WING IV NEWS:

1) I'd say we had a pretty good week in all. The MSEs were submitted, the
reccomendations went through, we had a few battles submitted. I've returned
from my leave of absence, and I'm not planning on playing anymore jokes this
week :).

2) EVERYONE! Fly FREE-TIE 102 for our competition with Wing V and send it to
me right away! I have about 7-8 entries now, and need more before the
deadline of the 10th of April!

3) Ahem. I have NO plotline entries for Operation: Genesis Phase 1!? Could
you give me some feedback (i.e. Do you even like this comp?). If you want to
participate, go to http://redrival.com/sovwingiv/opgenesis.htm).

4) CPT David/Lamed's new Jedi Knight Multiplayer level is finished! You can
(and will want to) download it at
http://members.aol.com/unknownlevelguy/powisland.zip. This level will
probably be used at Wing IV Multiplayer events in the future.

SHIP/FLEET NEWS:

1) CM Artyis/Wing II got a continuing column on the Emperor's Hammer into a
Polish magazine, and been awarded a Grand Order of the Empire for his
efforts. If you know Polish, and want to download the EH column, go to

2) AMB/MAJ Turtle/Reserve (Kngt) has been appointed as the Emperor's
Hammer's new Internet Officer, and has been promoted to Vice Admiral.

3) VA Slade Holm, ex-Intel Division Head-Guy has been awarded a Grand Order
of the Empire, as has Communications Officer AD Kumba.

4) A new medal, Distinguished Flying Cross has been introduced and is
awarded by the Combat Operations Officer (or his/her assistants) for being
the Declared Top Winning in a Combat Operations Officer approved night (or
afternoon) of XvT or XWA Melee. Add-ons for the DFC are the Bronze Wings
(5), Silver Wings (10), and Gold Wings (20).

5) Project Phoenix is looking for new mission correctors. Apply only if you
have good knowledge of briefing making and of TIE mission making in general.
