WING NEWS:
1) There wasn't a whole lot of things going on this week, other than MAJ
Reaper's submitting of about 2-3 battles per day :).
2) We've got a number of Squadron League submissions, I'll be submitting the
results tonight for Squadron League Round 4.
3) Squadron League Round 5 has been announced! TC-TIE Battle 132 'Battle of
the Bins' will be flown, and must be sent to me by the 15th of March.. It is
attached.
4) A number of pilots have volunteered to fly for the Blue Team during
Operation Imperial Storm, the upcoming military operation the TIE Corps will
be involved in. Those pilots include:

5) I'd also like to announce a mini-competition taking place in Wing IV..
CMDR/CPT Demon Yoda/Cheth will be flying FREE-TIE Compton-1, against all of
Yod Squadron. If Demon Yoda's score beats Yod's average score, he wins, if
Yod's average score betters DY's, they are the victors :)
This will start on the 6th of March, and end the 13th.
6) Also, you have all recieved an announcement from Demon Yoda about his
NCAA College Basketball March Madness Pool. This will start as soon as the
tournament brackets are released, and anyone interested in being a part of
the pool, can submit their picks. DY will be setting up a special page,
devoted to this "competition" :p.

SHIP/FLEET NEWS:
1) LC Ace Pilot is still accepting pilots wishing to join the TIE League.
Over 50 pilots participated in the first season, which is currently in its
final stages. TIE League involves flying one mission a week for 6 weeks.
Then, if you're good enough, you will proceed to the finals. I invite all
members of the TIE Corps to come and prove just how good a pilot they really
are. Medals will be given out, a Bronze Star for first, Palpatine Crescent
for seconds, and an Imperial Security Medal for third, fourth, and fifth.

2) Fleet Admiral Kessler
applications from pilots who wish to fly for their Team in Exercise Imperial
Storm. Ownership of X-Wing Alliance is essential and the two patches
required to take part in the Battle Exercise are available at the Imperial
Storm Operations Website. All pilots MUST send their full ID Line or their
application will be rejected.
3) A new TIE Corps CMDR's award has been instituted, the ISD Colossus was
declared the winner of the TIE Corps Commander's Citation for February 2000.
Congratulations, to Ari, Theodore, and all of Colossus' pilots.
4) A new Battle of the Day has been released, a new 5-mission Infiltrator
Wing X-Wing Alliance battle:
IW-XWA #22: Abyssi Ianua - Gates to Hell
Remember: TIE Corps pilots can play IW and any other subgroup-based battle
for battle medals and FCHG points. All battles are available to download at
the Emperor's Hammer Battle Center
5) The Emperor's Hammer won the Outer Rim Night Competition last night, the
following was the final score: Total- EH: 27 | RS: 24 | TIE: 4 .
6) the new Emperor's Hammer Medal of Allegiance has been approved and is
herein authorized for use in the Fleet. Medal of Allegiance (MoA) -
(Awarded to Non-EHers) - The MoA is awarded by order of the Fleet Commander
or Executive Officer to a member of another club that has helped the fleet
consistently. A picture of the MoA is attached to this message.
