WING NEWS:
1) We had an excellent showing in Round 4 of the Squadron League with 19/27
entries, 70% participation. Good work, to those who participated!
2) I've neglected a few things in my recent reports:
*LCM Bret K'thraz and MAJ Reaper have reached the finals in the TIE League,
a competition run by LC Ace Pilot.
*LCM Mini Minkus submitted an interview he had with FO Kessler for Issue 1
of the TIE Corps magazine, "The Battlecry". This interview earned was the
Runner-up for Editor's Favorite award, earning LCM Minkus a Palpatine's
Crescant.. Congrats! You can find Minku's award-winning interview in the
Wing IV Fiction Library http://redrival.com/sovwingiv/library.htm.
3) Round 4 of the Squadron League has been announced! As I informed you
before, it's TC-TIE Battle 131, due to me by 02/28/00.. Remember, taking
Imperial craft's shields and hull down with your lasers has been outlawed.
4) I have created a bit of artwork, available to be viewed at the Wing IV
Fiction Library.. Check out all of the library, at

5) Wing IV IRC Meeting at 12:30 PM EST (half an hour after Noon), today, in
#Wing_IV on the Undernet (I will be away part of tomorrow evening)..
6) I have found two Wing IV Internet Officers, LCM Mini Minkus, who will
maintain the Wing IV Medal Board, and MAJ Reaper, who will maintain the
Communications page..
7) If interested, I am still accepting applications for the Cheth and Teth
CMDR positions! These positions have been open for about a week, and I'm
looking to select a CMDR soon.. Please apply to me if interested.
8) As usual, the Wing IV Multiplayer events will take place this weekend,
with JK this Saturday evening at 8:00 PM EST, and XWA at 8:00 PM EST Sunday
night. Please plan to attend! I have attached a Multiplayer note from LCM
Bret K'thraz at the end of the report..
9) A Wing IV Honor Guard matchup came to a close this week, with LCM Bret
K'thraz defeating LCM Feran Daemas and taking back the Honor Guard title,
and trophies.. LCM Bret will be facing LCM Mini Minkus next...
10) Things are really looking up for Wing IV, at last! We've raised our
membership by 3, achieved 70% participation in the Squadron League, and have
just been pretty active all around. I'd like to thank those who have been
making a great effort at bringing in new pilots to Wing IV, CM Phoen|x
Berkana and the rest of Yod Squadron, LT Adume, and his Adopt a Cadet
project, and any others who've been emailing PLT Daedalus cadets (also, LCM
Bret K'thraz, who's announcements of "JOIN YOD" ring throughout many IRC
channels :p)...

I also'd like you JKers to download BFP2 and the update BFP2.1. I know
it's kinda big, but it makes the game sooooooooo much more fun. The catch
is, it won't work unless everyone in the match has it installed. So, if you
don't get it, you'll be making everyone have less fun, and you'll be
tar-and-feathered in a public place (Not to mention we'll team up against
you :P). You can find both BFP2 and the update at this link:
