CM Actar Vanas (Yod) has been promoted to Captain.
LT Zekiel Masters (Kaph) has been promoted to Lieutenant Commander.
LT Avenger (Yod) has been promoted to Lieutenant Commander.
WING IV NEWS:
1) Allrighty, I am -now- completely caught up with everything, following my
leave of absence not too long ago- webpages, email, paperwork, and
~especially~ BSFs..
2) There will be a Wing IV IRC Meeting this afternoon, at 4:00 PM EST in
#Wing_IV on an Undernet server.. IRC can be downloaded at
http://www.mirc.com. I will hold trivia, if enough people are in attendance,
and if anyone would like, Jedi Knight, XWA or XvT matches :)
3) Squadron League Round 11 continues! Please send me your TC-TIE 77 files,
with your CMDR getting a copy as well. You have only about 4 more days left
to fly, so get at it!
4) Squadron League Results through Round 9 have been released.. Yod Squadron
is in 15th place, Teth in 17th, Kaph in 19th, Cheth in 31st and Lamed in
41st place. (And the Rat Pack is in 3rd :-)
5) This week, one of Wing IV's old school pilots, the much famed LC Guthwulf
transferred to the Reserves. Guthwulf has been a Wing IV (And Yod) pilot for
over a year now, and served as Yod's CMDR for much of that time. Guth- I'd
like to say what a pleasure it's been serving with you; I can't imagine what
Wing IV would be like now, if you hadn't been here (You know what I'm
talking about :). Anyway, I hope to continue seeing you on IRC, and- you're
always welcome in Yod and/or Wing IV!!
6) The Wing IV Tag Team competition finished up this week, with MAJ Reaper
and his Kaph boys victorious!! Kaph finished with a 3 point lead over Cheth,
who had 11. Teth had 11 points, and Lamed and Yod finished with 5 apiece.
MAJ Reaper, the only Kaph pilot to fly in 3/4 of the rounds will recieve a
PC.. And I suppose I can see about an ISM for those who flew in 2 of the 4
rounds.
7) Teth Squadron and Praetorian Squadron will be facing off soon (I will be
flying along with Teth).. Yod vs. Ghost should start as soon as Bret,
beloved (:p) Wing IV vet and Ghost's CMDR returns from leave. Yod vs. Zayin
Citation Competition continues on as well.
SHIP/FLEET NEWS:
1) I informed you about this yesterday, but again, the EH is having a
multiplayer competition against the Last Starfighter League. The Battle will
take place IRC ( server : irc.nassery.org Channel : #LSF ) It's run using
Battlestats, and you must sign up at Battlestats.com.
2) I believe I forgot to announce this last week, but Battlecry Issue 5 was
released last week. In it, you can read my Wing IV Report, one of the few
wing reports in the issue.
3) Combat Operations Officer Havoc has stepped down as COO.. No applications
are being accepted.
4) The TIE Corps Message Center
feature that allows you to preview your messages before you post them
(signature and all).
Also, a new "Techical Support" board for all Emperor's Hammer members who's
having problems getting their games to work whether it be playing TIE 95,
playing Jedi Knight online, figuring out how to play on the Internet Gaming
Zone, and so forth has been added.
