Foreword


Big news! Read on...

Wing XIV News


- The October comp has concluded. The winner of the First part was Major Prophet of Copperhead Squadron with a total of
133,084 points. In second place came Krayt Squadron's Lieutenant Rhys von Pohl with 123,244 points. Lieutenant Kalen
Vec of Viper Squadron pulled 3rd place with 64,259 points. Prophet received a Palpatine Crescent and LT Pohl received an
ISM. Congrats!

Sadly, no awards were given for the second part of the competition, as not one squadron had total participation.

- I'll be stepping down as Wing XIV's WC later today. Pel, Priyum, and myself feel that a new leader of Wing XIV will more
beneficial for the Wing. New, more inspirational leadership is definately needed, and I'm finding less and less time to attend to
my administrative duties... as far as whats been happening with the wing lately, we've decided upon a new course of action.
While I will not be physically on the Intrepid, I do plan on lending my help to the next Wing Commander and making sure
certain things that were set in motion under my tenure will come to fruition under my successor.

I'd have to say... Its been fun. I've greatly enjoyed my nearly ten months as Wing Commander of Wing XIV, and I am truely
going to miss you guys. However, like I've said, I believe it is for the better, and the Wing has reached its ceiling under my
leadership. So its time to move on to bigger and better things :)

Farewell, Wing XIV.

- The next large Wing competition has also been planned. We are to take on Wing VI! Details can be found here, and more
info will be provided as the date approaches.

- Copperhead is the Wing Commander's Own for the month of November!

- Unfortunately, we lost the ASF Vengance Competition... Here is the Intrepid's "rewards:"

- COL Plif has been appointed as Asp CMDR!

- LT Kaine has been awarded a Commendation of Bravery.

- The Asp Ace competition has restarted! When two Asp pilots fly against each other, they report it to COL Plif to receive
credit for it.

- Asp Squadron will soon have new fighters and a new squadron objective. Stay tuned for more details.

- CM The_Z has been awarded a Medal of Tactics - Blue Hammer.

- LCM Kyle has been awarded a Commendation of Bravery.

Aggressor Strike Force News


- The final battle for Operation: Dark Hammer has taken place and the results are in! Goliath Wins!!!!

- ASF:SC 2 is coming! Take a look here. Take some time to make sure you're familiar will the details of the competition
before it starts on the 20th. The titles of ASF Flagship (Currently the Grey Wolf) and ASF Escort Squadron. (Currently
Vortex Squadron) Merit medals will be awarded for the achievement of points.

- Avenger Squadron's new CMDR is CPT Death! Congrats, Death!

- Admiral Priyum Patel has been awarded an Imperial Cross!

- Aggressor Strike Force membership at 124.

TIE Corps News


- The position of Combat Operations Officer Assistant is now open for application. The Requirements are:

- Online daily, and check e-mails daily
- Be familiar with WoW
- Be ready to help with any other tasks

Send applications to AD Zsinj.

- Applications are now being accepted for the position of Command Attache to the Training Officer. The person who gets this
position will most likely be the next TO, so there's no real need to go over what the requirements are. However, the following
conditions will result in your application being deleted:

- Asking the TO if he got your application (or getting a third party to ask him for you)
- Asking the TO what your chances are (or getting a third party to ask him for you)
- Asking the TO how many applications he's gotten so far (or getting a third party to ask him for you)
- Asking the TO when he'll appoint the CA (or getting a third party to ask him for you)
- Asking the TO what duties the CA will have or the job requirements (or getting a third party to ask him for you)

Applications should be mailed to the Training Officer with the subject "CA:TO Application". Outline why you think you
should get the job. Applications which include recommendations or references will be deleted. There is no set closing date for
applications.

- Well, we had our first weekly Capship night yesterday! Many showed up but due to
lag and crashing computers, only 3 actual battles got flown in the hour and a half
competition.

Combat Operations Office News


- The replacement for Outer Rim Nights has arrived! It currently is a competition between the TC and IW. It is on Saturday at
the same time as OR night was. Legions of Combat will be awarded!

Miscellaneous


- For Sub Lieutenants - Just complete any one of these 5 things to get a promotion to Lieutenant!

1. Submit your Imperial Navy Pilot Record (INPR) to your Squadron Commander.
2. Participate in any official TIE Corps competition or contest.
3. Fly any official TIE Corps battle, with the exception of free missions, these are located at the TIE Corps Battle Center.
4. Submit EH/TC fiction or graphics.
5. Assist your Squadron Commander with the squadron's homepage or other activities.

Orders/Comments


- Fly as much as possible to defeat Wing VI!

- E-mail and help Cadets on the Platform Daedalus; perhaps they will join your squadron.

- Stop by in #EH_ASF whenever you're on IRC.
