WING COMMANDER'S CORNER

Ok, where should I start.... 2245 missions so far this month! That is an amazing total, and with 6 days left 2500 is within our grasp. Do we dare think about the 3K barrier?

CSL2 has started. We didn't do too well in the first week, so I'd like to see an improvement, especially from the two squads that managed 0 submissions.

Cheating. I've mentioned this before, but I'm going to do it again. DON'T DO IT. And if you're going to view you TFRs in a viewer be extra careful not to tamper with them. Two pilots from this wing have been HCI'd for "editing" TFRs. So once more, DON'T DO IT, you will be found out eventually.

July changes to SoM+PoM:
1. The graphics scale will change to 0, 10, 25, 35, 50, 75 - This will give me more flexibility with grading.
2. Points for High Scores. 5pts for each high score in a TFR.

Squadron of the Month + Pilot of the Month:
The standard points system is 1 point per mission flown.

BONUS POINTS:
IWATS courses passed (10 pts per course)
LoCs won (5 pts per LoC)
DFCs won (50 pts per DFC)
Iron Stars (Bronze 10pts, Silver 25pts, Gold 50pts, Platinum 100pts)
MoT all types (green hammer 25pts, red hammer 60pts)
Graphics, a maximum of one per pilot per week to be graded on a
scale.
Fiction, a maximum of one per pilot per week to be graded on a
scale.

GRAPHICS/FICTION SCALE:
0 - 0pts, 1 - 20pts, 2 - 40pts, 3 - 75pts

Criteria are; Effort + Technically sound + Artistically sound
0 - No criteria
1 - 1 criteria
2 - 2 criteria
3 - 3 criteria

Submissions receiving the top grade will be inline for medals and the top Fiction and Graphics will also be submitted to the wing for voting, first place in each category will receive Services to Art and Services to Literature awards.


WEEKLY FLYING MEDALS:
ISM for 25 missions
PC for 45 missions
BS for 80 missions

Crystaltech has informed me that maintenance will be performed on the database server we use on June 26th, between midnight and 3AM. It's most likely the site won't work during that period.
