Well, this has been an interesting couple of weeks for me. Last weekend I attended a Nascar Winston Cup event and this week, as most of you all know, the majority of the northeast region of the US had a major blackout. Between the two events, this has left me pretty busy catching up with all my duties, including catching up with my duties in other subgroups.
Now, as a reminder to all of us, the time has come for us to start cleaning the ship up from all the partying we've done. RA Frodo will be returning in a few days. I don't want him knowing what we've done during his absence :-P
Wing News
1.- RA Frodo is still on leave. But, will be returning in a few days.
2.- The Intrepid Activity Comp is still taking place. I must say that I'm proud of all of you for keeping me busy tallying the scores. This has left me very little time to do much of anything else :-P
3.- Congrats to CPT Tvan for his 1st place finish in the Create a New COMM Banner Comp! WTG!!!!!
I would think after holding on my report for last week I would've had more news for the Wing.

Operations Officer Open For Applications

Overview
The Operations Officer is responsible for the timely awarding of medals within the TIE Corps, providing consultive feedback on high level medals and maintaining the Operations Manual and related materials.
Selection Criteria - Essential
1. Good written communication skills.
2. An acceptable level of presence on online media such as IRC, message boards, etc.
3. Fast email response time.
4. The ability to work with a wide range of EH personnel in a diplomatic fashion.
Selection Criteria - Desirable
1. Graphics and/or HTML ability.
2. Prior experience in a similar position.
You must address each criteria with supporting evidence. Simply saying "Yes, I can do that" will not be enough. Include specific examples of your experience. You should meet at least the essential criteria to be considered for the position. You will be expected to perform the core duties of the position to an acceptable level. You must include at least three (3) references. At least one of these must be a former or current superior, preferably current. Ensure you have their permission first, as your application will be seen in a negative light if you have not gained their permission. Applications should be sent to the Fleet Commander and Executive Officer with the subject "Application for Operations Officer".
