Wing News

1. The month of August is drawing to a close, and so does another BJ. At the time of this writting, submissions are closed, so now all we can do is wait and hope, and ready the paint balloons to pelt those that steal our victory away from us.

2. Looking ahead to the next month, we will have another one of those "biggie" comps along with BJ. If you've been following my reports (and I assume that you all have been enthralled by them), you will have heard of Operation: Phalanx. This competition has been expanded to be an Avenger wide comp, horray for me. The details can be found at http://www.emperorshammer.net/competitions/details.asp?ID=860, while the events will be posted at http://phalanx.minos.net. There are a number of shiny medals up for grabs, so I want to see most of them going to XIX. FYI the first phase and the RO start tomorrow, so be on the lookout for it =D.

3. I'd like to see a good performance in BJ this coming month as well, so get ready to go out and fly stuff.

4. The pilot file naming criterea is posted on the wing site now under "Standing Orders", so you can find them for easy reference.
