Wing Status -
Recruit!! We are the smallest wing in the TIE Corps.
I personally have sent out over 200 individual emails since I became Wing Commander to potential members. What have you done?
I don’t care if you have to recruit your mother or your father, or even your brother’s spider monkey (provided the brother answers its email). I’m looking into some likely possibilities on the Phoenix, but don’t hold your breath. AND REMEMBER you can offer your assistance to cadets on the Daedalus...but you can’t outright recruit them....suggest to them how helpful we are and how the wing commander likes to supply dancing girls to active pilots.

Sovereign League XWA Battle Creation Contest

The SSSD Sovereign Squadron League coordinators are pleased to announce a battle creation competition leading up to the SSL 2004. The Sovereign League XWA Battle Creation Contest runs through 12/31/2003, and is open to all XWA mission creators in the TC.
Entrants must create a four-mission XWA battle, absolutely without patches, for use in the SSSD Sovereign League 2004.
The competition has four monthly rounds; each month, a "best battle" will be selected by the Sovereign League judges. The winner of each round will receive an IS-GR; runner-up, IS-SR; and third place, IS-BR.
The SSL judges desire to use high-quality XWA battles for the SSL 2004. XWA creators will construct one or more four-mission battles (no less or more than four missions); absolutely no patches are to be used with the battles. Top battles will be judged by the SSL staff, then sent off to the TAC office. The TAC has agreed to accelerate testing and confirmation of the winning battles so they will be available in the compendium in time for the start of the SSL 2004 in
January. Medals awarded for this contest will be separate from any TAC-awarded mission creation awards.

(Excerpt from the Sov Report # 100)
Thank you all for reading Sov News 100. It's difficult to believe I have been SovCOM long enough to generate 100 reports. Add that to the 70 or so reports I did as Wing II WC and a couple of years' worth of weekly reports as Koph Squadron CMDR before that, and I might be
one of the all-time verbose report writers in the history of the Emperor's Hammer. Ronin's budget cutters are getting tired of the keyboard replacement requisitions, so I'm not sure how much
longer I can keep it up.
But, I think I can really keep it up for a while, anyway. The reason is simple: You, the pilots of the SSSD Sovereign, have made my job completely enjoyable. I'm having more fun now than when I took this post more than two years ago. That's a testament to the fun all of you have provided me. So, my flight helmet is off to everyone on the flagship.
Having said all of that, I *do* still have a mean streak >:) ... so, here is the deal: Those of you who have read this entire report and made it to this final segment: You are hereby granted unlimited cantina privileges for the remainder of the month. That's right, I said UNLIMITED. Have helluva fun, but don't breach the hull.
What about those who did not read my wondrous report? Hah. They will be "escorted" by Team L.S.D and Ballista to the Sov waste tanks for a full month of cleaning duty. Each has been issued a Huttese wire tooth brush for their tasks. After completing the assignment, they will be "escorted" to the Hutt Guano Bins for additional, uh, housekeeping chores. Kramer's ScorpTroopers have been tasked with, eh, "monitoring" all of this work. Hee Hee :)
