NEWS -
Greetings pilots
and welcome to my 3rd WC report!
I start with very good news: during the past week 3 Sub Lieutenants joined our ranks! Let's welcome aboard SL Ramlosa of Asp Squadron and SL Kolec Vekyata and SL KramCola of Cobra Squadron. Kolec and KramCola have already successfully completed several combat missions and Kolec has been promoted to the rank of Lieutenant while for KramCola it is just a matter of hours before he will receive his LT badge, well done both of you! Ramlosa, now it's your turn to show to the Wing your piloting skills :-)
The three SLs aren't the only new faces aboard of the Intrepid, in fact MAJ Delak Krennel left Tau squadron to rejoin his old Wing and he has been assigned to Cobra squadron. In these few days Delak has already won his first MP competition and got 1st place in Week #1 of the Snakepit XWA Ladder.
Talking about MP, there's no doubt that CM Machinari of Copperhead is currently our best pilot. During the past week he got 8 LoCs in XvT and 9 LoCs in XWA, impressive! Also, congratulations to CM Spade (5 XvT wins), CPT Justin (2 XvT wins) and our Commodore, who finally won a XWA match, hehe. I'd really like to see more people flying Multiplayer combat even because the Snakepit Ladders (XvT & XWA) are still running and this means that if you fly Multiplayer matches against other pilots of this Wing you may receive IS-BW and IS-SW medals other than the usual LoCs and DFCs! Anyway, CM Spade has won first round of the XvT ladder and he is still on the lead, Week #1 winner for the XWA part is MAJ Delak. Good work guys, an IS-BW medal is on your way!
A very important thing is the release of EHBL (Emperor's Hammer Battle Launcher) software to the TIE Corps. This will make installation of EH custom battle much easier and will prevent bad people (a.k.a. cheaters) from editing missions or pilot files. To download the EHBL you just have to log in into the database, in the Admin Menu page you should have two new links under EH Battle Launcher. If you have TIE Fighter CD you need the DOS client but if you have the 95 version (the one included in the XWing Collectors series) you need only the Windows client, instructions are included in the .zip package, be sure to read them before to use EHBL! If you encounter any problem or bug while using EHBL the Scientific Officer has created a specific "Support" thread on the EH forum at: http://theholo.net/mb/viewtopic.php?t=8968, when you post be sure to specify your system specs and what version of the games you use. Another important thing: if you have "old" battles (i.e. ".zip" files) on your hard disk you can still fly them until the end of the month but remember that starting from 1st November you will have to use EHBL to install custom battles, otherwise you will risk to be sent to HCI.
I wish to end this report congratulating with CM Machinari who has broken the 50 MP wins mark and reached the Officer 2nd Combat Rank and with SL (soon to be LT) KramCola that in few days reached the FCHG rank of Grenadier with 23 points! And of course a special mention for the most active SP pilot of the Wing: CPT SavageAz of Krayt squadron. Keep up the good work, pilots!

TIE95 Fix For EHBL Users Running Windows 2000/XP

Because, without a fix, TIE95 don't run on XP ans 2K anyway it also doesn't when you install EHBL (even if you have already "fixed it").
