Ship News
-Two new recruits have joined the ship, welcome LT Tiamat and SL Kyp Durron
-COL Woobee, former WC and COM rejoins us from the RSVs, welcome back this old wolf
-There are several more old wolves on their way back.
-With the new arrivals this week our numbers are up to 51, the largest the wing has been in sometime.
-The Three Wing Brawl is still going, I only have a handful of submissions for it. It ends tomorrow!!!
-Happy Birthday today to Major Vladet Xavier, Happy Birthday tomorrow to VA Khameir Sarin.

ASF News
-The INT and VAN are squaring off against the Sov in the Beer Cup, and they didn't even think to invite us, anyone else feel left out?

Tie Corps News
-The Battlegroups Taskforce has fallen to the Sov Taskforce in Imperial Storm, the Sov did however lose all of it's escorts. Unfortunately it now has a straightshot to Aurora for the win.
-The COMM is looking for a COMMA (Heheh...) aka Assistant
-The TAC has released a few new TIE battles
-IWCOM is open for Applications
-The XO is looking for someone to make him a new webpage, medals to the best designs

The first pilot to discover and e-mail me the easter egg will receive an IS-BR for their efforts.

GW Top Gun Pilot Competition
Deadline: 11/7/2003
Description: Pilots are to fly a mission each week as selected by the comp coordinators. Competition is to run for an approximate total of 8 weeks. Medals are to be issued after each round to the winners and runners up. During each week, pilots who participate will gain points towards the end of the comp. At the end of the competition a final tally of all points will be assessed and the overall winners (1st and 2nd places) will be issued their respected medals. A rules section and awards web page will be posted by the comp coordinator at the Odin squadron website. (comp was previously drafted by me and reviewed by the Ships COM and BGCOM and given the okay)

Wing Commander's Forum


-Lieutenant Colonel Gilad Pelleaeon looks over a new group of recruits

Three months into my tour, I don't intend on quitting yet. I flew MP this week against LT Ambar, I'm going to try and fly MP more often. To encourage this I'll probably start a Beat the WC competition, basically means more medals for you, since I'm not too good a MP. There will be a WC's Own for October, more or less at Sarin's prodding.... :P I'll announce it next week. Supremacy Comp is two months away, get ready. Imperial Storm is going to be over soon, the Sov can just waltz into Aurora and claim a minor victory, or they can turn around and wipe out the ATR. IMHO it was a lovely setup, if you've flown XWA against the SSSD, you know that it requires hundreds of fighters with rockets to even hope to do any damage to it, even with the shield generators wiped out. And what did we get to face it? Z-95s, with no warheads, fair? I think not. I think the ASF is far enough out to avoid engagement with this 'unbeatable' beast, but the ATF Task Force will probably fall victim to it. Anyway, that's my rank for the week. Let's get a little more SP activity going, only 5 SP pilots this week, and I was one of them. Keep up the good work.

And remember! DON'T GET ELIMINATED! :P
