Wing Commander’s Report #11 for the week ending 11/30/03

Today, is the last day for the Beer Cup, fly the battles and e-mail your plts to your CMDR and the COM. In other news wing XV was the highest scoring unit in the ASF and EH for last week's WoW, congrats to us. Finaly, it is now MSE time, CMDRs if you can have your MSEs in now I would like that. We haven't had extraordinary activity in the past few month but still we have had a lot of work that needs rewarding, so have those MSEs in ASAP!

Beat the WC at MP: Fly against me, no one from the wing or the ASF CS has flow in ths comp yet, so if anyone fly's me on this sunday you get an almost free LoC...
FCHG RACE: Most FCHG gain at the end of the month wins (IE: fly a lot of SP)
CR RACE: Most CR gain at the end of the month wins (IE: Fly a lot of MP)
Winner: The most people you bring into the wing, the better chance you have at getting this IS-SR, runner up gets an IS-BR
IWATS RACE: Most IWATS courses done gets an IS-SR, 2nd most BR

Parties Involved Intrepid, Vanguard and Sovereign
Missions/Battles Used One each TIE, XWA and XvT battles, to be selected by the three COMs.
Medals to be Awarded IS-GW, IS-SW and IS-BW to the top three pilots on each side, in each division. It's the Sov vs. the Intrepid and the Vanguard.
Miscellaneous Information -- Sov vs. Vanguard and Intrepid in TIE, XvT and XWA single-player battles. -- Top 30 pilot files on each side count toward the results in each division. Overall score of these top 30 scores per division determines the winner(s). Note: XvT division is Top 15 files. -- TIE scoring is laserless. -- Time of the comp: Nov. 1 through Nov. 30. -- Medals: The usual, IS-GW, IS-SW, IS-BW to top three in each division on each side.

Vanguard standing orders
The Standing orders will remain in effect until further notice, I will inform you if there are any changes.
Standing Order #1: (RL) Real Life first!
Of course the first and foremost thing is RL. It is highly recommended to take all RL matters first and before all ship functions, unless you just don't care. I would like to enforce this order to all members. But please be reminded that you should inform your superiors of any situation so that we can count you on LOA, and don't forget to mark your profile stating your on Leave. Even if your only going to be on leave for 2 days, please mark your absence. This way if it takes longer than we know where you are and won't count you as MIA/AWOL.
Standing Order #2: Reports
I expect a Squadron report every week from every Commander on Friday and Squadron MSE's are due on the 1st unless I am told in advance of a RL situation that prevents you from sending one in on time but I do expect it when you return from leave. This will get you removed from command immediately. They must also be uploaded to the database.
Standing Order #3: AWOL's
All AWOL requests must be approved by the WC and the COM before sending them in to the FO. This is not to resurp your command it is to give us the chance of emailing the pilots personally to try and find out their situations and give them one last chance to get back to active status. –As taken from the reports of COL Drax Remlinger

As we all can see in the past 4 months the ship has droped from around 60ish to the low 40ish high 30ish... in all those complicated words me that we have to step up in the recruitment domain... go out and recruit some ppl, we need to get back to a stable 40.
