Introduction
Well its the end of my first week and things seem to going pretty smooth. We have gained several new pilots and have some competitions under way. To make sure that all of you are reading this and I so I know who is alive, EVERYONE (whether or not you and I have spoken or you have sent me an email before)...send me an email reply to THIS email just letting me know that you are alive.

Weekly Fiction
- LCM Ironfist has been gracious enough to start providing a weekly fiction for us. It will be a story that will continue every week. The first half will be in my reports and the second half will be in BubbaX's reports....So you have to read both of them to get the whole story.

**The Relentless approached her last patrol waypoint. The mighty Imperial vessel was about to exit hyperspace, in order to make a surprise inspection in a Transfer Station. During the last week, there were reports of smugglers being able to infiltrate in most Emperor's Hammer controlled space, and that situation couldn't just be allowed to continue. So, the ISD Relentless, as other ISDs of the Fleet, were sent in random patrol routes, and make unannounced checks on the stations of the borders of friendly space.
So far, it as been a dull mission. Flying close to sluggish transporters wasn't exactly the mission profile the Wing IX pilots were used too... The notion of putting a ship on their sighs and not blow it up was alien to most veteran officers of the Wing. It was the kind of mission rookies were given, and the Relentless proud personal was not happy with it.
Commodore BubbaX, when he informed the crew about the assignment have told the reasons to have such magnificent vessel doing patrol work. If problems arisen, re-enforcements would be hard to get, and so, the ISD would be expected to deal with the situation. Hence, the elite was chosen. Still, many though it was like killing a wamp rat with a hydraulic sledge hammer. But orders were orders, and the crew and pilots of the Relentless always carried their assignments to a good port. Alas, nothing less was expected from them.
The Commodore decided to conduct the first inspections personally from the Bridge. More then anyone else, he knew that this was a waste of skilled personnel...
As the ship entered realspace, the three active squadrons of Wing IX dropped from the belly of the big vessel. Major Terrak lead his Wing, on a classic close V formation. Sword on the tip, and the other two squadrons falling into his left and right, also in close V formation. The fighters approached the massive station. Transporters, tugs and containers were afloat everywhere. The ISD sent radio signals to all the ships, informing them to stop for they would have tobe inspected. At the WC Command, all ships broke formation, and directed to their marks.**
