Weekly Fiction
- LCM Ironfist has been gracious enough to start providing a weekly fiction for us. It will be a story that will continue every week. The first half will be in my reports and the second half will be in BubbaX's reports....So you have to read both of them to get the whole story.

PLT Klendat, Command Bridge, Day 2, 0900 Hours Zulu.
On PLT Klendat all was well. The huge smuggling operation was running like never before. Admiral Klaten was happy. He started with a battered old Corvette, and in a few years, he had a smuggling and pirate ship that few could match. Of course, he did not have the firepower to face either Rebel Squadrons nor the Emperor's Hammer fleets, but his fast transports were distributing illegal cargo all over know space, right under the noses of those huge fleets. One had only to have the right friends on the right places.
Rebel-controlled space was very easy to move illegal cargo through. Those guys only cared for Imperials, and ships like the Corelian Transport series, easily passed through their space. Seams like the exploits of previous smugglers made them too lenient for their own good.
Entering in Imperial-controlled space was as much difficult as it was easy to distribute on their counterparts. But with enough resources, one could do it, as he proved to the Galaxy. Now, even the farthest planets could benefit with the wide range of illegal products he supplied. Weapons, drugs, forbidden technology, stolen goods and other highly profitable, if dangerous to carry, were available almost anywhere. His fighting fleet had been able to put out of commission many of his adversaries, getting more then enemies out of the way, he now had a reasonable force of veterans and seasoned training boards. His War Captains counted several kills under their belt, and his most trusted Officers were as efficient as any others.
In his hidden operations base, he could coordinate the fantastic movements of his Transport and War ships. Still, informations brought recently worried him. The Emperor's Hammer High Command had assigned ships-of-the-line to hunt him and his forces. He was told that the ISD II Relentless had been seen doing checks on major commerce centres, ruining along the travel routes. He reckoned that his combined fleet was more then a match for the Imperial vessel, but the profile of his operation made such gathering very dangerous, if not impossible at all. One had to be careful. If not for a very lucky incident involving a Cruise Ship and some hostages that now inhabited his brig, he could not have entered the Imperial space. And now, an ISD II was hunting him, reporting only to the most higher officials. The Commodore aboard the ship would have been given full strategic, tactical and operational command, making him as independent from the regular chain-of-command as possible. There was no telling here that damned ship would surface next. Until now he was lucky. There is no telling what will happen next.
