Wing Commander’s Report #12 for the week ending 12/07/03
Wing News
Well, the Beer Cup results are said to be inconclusive, our side won XvT and XWA but the SOV had an OK Showing in TIE so their total was about 2 000 000 points bigger than ours. Basicaly said we lost, but the SOV aint gloating about it. All comments we get about the comp where good and a lot of people are interested in anothere one soon, so watch out for Beer Cup 2nd Edition, it might just happen. On to some good news, this week we saw a a couple promotions, so Congrats to LC Kenath Zoron and LCM Ace Fighter!!! MSE TIME IS NOW!!! so start looking at your inbox's if you did something last month...

Fleet News
-WoW XWA is over, we had 2 pilots from our wing (both from Hornet) participate and win a total of 7 matches (0 loses), MAJ Ace (AES) took 3rd overall and the EH Placed an great 1st place (TIED)
-COO is still up for grabs, I'm not applying so good luck to anyone that is and if you think you have what it takes then apply, if you don't know what that possition is then don't apply...
-There's a new War that EH is involved in at the moment on the Zone. This is an XvT War hosted by Battlestats.com The rules are the same as regular Wars with one exception: All teams must consist of 2 or more different ships (TI with a TF) and all teams must mirror each other (TI & TF vs TI & TF) The info page is here: http://www.battlestats.com/games/xvt/war/info/?war2220

Vanguard standing orders
The Standing orders will remain in effect until further notice, I will inform you if there are any changes.
Standing Order #1: (RL) Real Life first!
Of course the first and foremost thing is RL. It is highly recommended to take all RL matters first and before all ship functions, unless you just don't care. I would like to enforce this order to all members. But please be reminded that you should inform your superiors of any situation so that we can count you on LOA, and don't forget to mark your profile stating your on Leave. Even if your only going to be on leave for 2 days, please mark your absence. This way if it takes longer than we know where you are and won't count you as MIA/AWOL.
Standing Order #2: Reports
I expect a Squadron report every week from every Commander on Friday and Squadron MSE's are due on the 1st unless I am told in advance of a RL situation that prevents you from sending one in on time but I do expect it when you return from leave. This will get you removed from command immediately. They must also be uploaded to the database.
Standing Order #3: AWOL's
All AWOL requests must be approved by the WC and the COM before sending them in to the FO. This is not to resurp your command it is to give us the chance of emailing the pilots personally to try and find out their situations and give them one last chance to get back to active status. –As taken from the reports of COL Drax Remlinger

FINAL NOTES
Overall this week was a good one hopefully things will be getting better as we get closer to Santa Day.... or what ever you wish to call it... On another note:
We need to bring our numbers up, a our objective will be a STABLE 40 by the end of January, thats nearly 2 months that we have to pick up 5 or more people, it should not be hard. CMDRs do not expect me and the FO to do all the work for you, so recruit when you get the chance, remember RSVs etc... ALSO FILL UP THOSE FL spots if you have a friend that wants to get promoted etc... FL is the place to be, lets get to it ppl, lets make it happen!
