Wing Commander’s Report #8 for the week ending 11/08/03

Well 3rd month of WCness is about to start and things are starting to pick up, we got 2 new members this week, LT Tiderius Hogg to Scorpion and SL Kyokushin Kwan to Python but with some newcommers we also had a few departures. New Squadron comps have begun as well as a little boost in activity. Echo and Wasp CMDR positions are open for applications and will most likely remain open until noon EST on Monday the 10th. Other than that XvT WoW awards have come in and I saw sicky online TWICE this week!

-EH 10th anniversary Discussions Message board (its on the bottom of that list) there are loads of polls there for what the EH should to for its 10th B-day!
-Golden Tug Awards Phase 2 is up, time to vote, Vote for worst (frodo) best, funny etc...
-Vanguard Site Comp, he who makes a cool good one gets an IS-GR or something like that plus super other medals for extra work...
-IWCOM is still open for applications, if you're in the IW and you're important you might want to try and apply...
-LC Styles is the new FOA.... cool for him

The ASF Chronicles

Vanguard standing orders
The Standing orders will remain in effect until further notice, I will inform you if there are any changes.
Standing Order #1: (RL) Real Life first!
Of course the first and foremost thing is RL. It is highly recommended to take all RL matters first and before all ship functions, unless you just don't care. I would like to enforce this order to all members. But please be reminded that you should inform your superiors of any situation so that we can count you on LOA, and don't forget to mark your profile stating your on Leave. Even if your only going to be on leave for 2 days, please mark your absence. This way if it takes longer than we know where you are and won't count you as MIA/AWOL.
Standing Order #2: Reports
I expect a Squadron report every week from every Commander on Friday and Squadron MSE's are due on the 1st unless I am told in advance of a RL situation that prevents you from sending one in on time but I do expect it when you return from leave. This will get you removed from command immediately. They must also be uploaded to the database.
Standing Order #3: AWOL's
All AWOL requests must be approved by the WC and the COM before sending them in to the FO. This is not to resurp your command it is to give us the chance of emailing the pilots personally to try and find out their situations and give them one last chance to get back to active status. –As taken from the reports of COL Drax Remlinger

Good week, 2 MSEs left to come in from Python & Hornet, after that MWE will be sent in to the Bosses... On a final note, VA Sickman should be sending us an update... or more info on this Beer Cup!
