Lieutenant Colonel Frodo reporting for Wing V, 7/12/2002


General Information

Wing V has seen another week go by. With a few events, that are as usual covered in this report ;)

Samekh Squadron, I am still taking apps. But now I’m also taking FL apps for the 2 FL positions that it contains. Send your applications to me and me alone. If you wish to be the CMDR of Samekh send your application to me and CC AD Proton.

LC Jason Hunter has left for Talon Squadron today. If any of you are interested in having the position of Sadhe Squadron CMDR e-mail me and CC Admiral Proton.

The Wing V academy project is still alive. It consists of having a special academy for cadets. This provides and excellent way of getting new recruits, if you are interested in the project contact Maj Mayk Wolverine.

Our IRC Channel #airlock21 is frequently empty, everybody try to go on IRC some more so we don’t look so inactive online. Although some of you provide a good effortJ

I still haven’t received 2 MSEs, those CMDRs will be contacted immediately. Remember Commanders, not sending your MSE lags the entire Wing’s awards since I have to wait for all of them.

The Sovereign Comp to end all comps, comp details has started. The COM is working hard with the WO to make it happenJ. This comp will include TIE XvT XWA SWGB and JK2. Wing V will be teamed up with other wings for this competition. I would like to know if there are any volunteers for SWGB and JK2.

Sovereign Battles of the month have been released. They are TIE TC__ XWA TC__ And XvT TC 19. Make sure to fly these as soon as you can!

WC’s own will be announced as soon as I can send the WME away. For that I need all of the MSEs.

Wing V News!

-LC Frodo is still taking applications for the position of Samekh Squadron Commander. To get this position you must apply to Frodo and CC AD Proton. You will also have to recruit about 3 other people to come along with you. (Preferably not people from our wing)
-Our recruitment Comp will be accepted soon, once we get a TO:P
-Help register #airlock21 by sending your Cservice name to Frodo and logging in online.
-I’ve decided to move the Wing V meetings to 3 PM ET on Saturdays. That’s one hour later, since I am unable to attend them at 2.
-LC Jason Hunter has left for the Subjugator

Wing V Open Bar

This week’s wing tips are:
1. Don’t be afraid to apply for things ; )
2. Post on MBs as much as you can! This puts you in contact with your CMDR and I and will get you some communication medals.
3. Good e-mail contact is good!

E-mailer of the week: Nun Squadron wins it! They were able to have a long e-mail conversation that lasted almost all week!

Promotion Info for SLs

To get promoted to LT, SLs must do one of the following tasks:
-Fly an EH Mission or Battle
-Create an INPR (Imperial Navy Personal Record)
-Participate in an Official EH Competition
-Help your Commander with the Squadron web page
-Create an Official EH mission or Battle and get it through TAC (that can take a while)
You know guys…It would be nice if a SL would actually be here to benefit from this portion of the report. Lets work on that!
