Wing IV News:
1) I sent out a mail this week stating that there would be a competition against Wing X. The competition is still on, but it has been slightly delayed (I can hear the groans already :P). The reason being I didn't like the mission Mai picked out for the comp. It was much too simple. It was the kind of mission that proved very troublesome in the Colossus Squadron League, so I don't want a repeat of that. The tentative start date is Wednesday, so cross your fingers!
2) The Deathmask Units competition is almost over! You have one more day to get your submissions in! Write, fly, do graphics, make battles, take IWATS courses. Everything and anything will count! This competition is over on October 21st. All submissions must be sent or forwarded to your CMDR, me and this addy: deathmask@warpmail.net. So far, only Yod (and myself) have submitted stuff. Current totals look like this:
LC Halcyon:
Division I = 45 points
Division II = 10 points
Yod Squadron:
Division I = 1010 points
Division II = 50 points
Wing Totals:
Division I = 1055
Division II = 60
3) The SOV Battle of the Month is still going on. You are to fly TC-TIE 185, TC-XvT 17 and/or TC-XWA 9. Submissions go to AD Proton but cc your CMDR's if you want them BSFed :P If you can fly it by the 21st, then they are given extra points in Deathmask. Otherwise, all files are due by October 31st. 4) Kaph Squadron applications are still open. Send all application to myself and AD Proton.
5) I would just like some feedback on my reports. This has been the standard layout for reports since Ricardo's time as WC, I believe. Is there another format you'd like to see? Split up competitions and other news? Other things you'd like to see? If there is anything you'd like changed, then please tell me. I can't make things better if I don't know about them :P
6) I've decided to stop the "Lyrics of the Week" competition due to noone participating :P If there is interest in it again, I'll bring it back. Medals for the past week shall be rewarded just as soon as the database is fully functional again.
Fleet News:
1) The TC databse is still down, but the actual site is up. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT use the database! Do not login in any way. Only Command Staff personel are allowed to use the database at this time. When we can use it again, you shall either get confirmation from myself, AD Proton or XO Astatine. If it doesn't come from one of us, then you don't use it. Capiche? Good :P
2) There have been alot of promotions this week. Congratualtions go out to the following: The new Grey Wolf COM, RA Sarin; new Immortal COM, RA Roguewing; new Relentless COM, VA Drake; the new Avenger CMDR, LC Dax Corrin. Also, RA Corran Force has resigned as COM of the Challenge. Applications are not being taken.
3) Still in keeping with the above point, GN Jahan Kalar has resigned as Wing Commander of Wing III, but he has been chosen as the new Flight Officer Assistant, so congratulations go to him.
