Four young ladies walked along the halls of the Sovereign, the flagship of the Tie Corps, with a large crowd of officers walking behind them. "So Sarah, where is this guy? I thought you knew where he was."
The blonde turned and said, "I said that 'I thought I knew where he was. This have changed significantly since I last saw him."
"Sounds like a great relationship, besides, aren't you married?" commented the redhead next to her.
"Who said anything about a relationship? We have our fun and then we leave. No strings, no loss, no..."
"...love." interrupted the other blonde.
"I said 'fun', not love." She stopped at a door and said, "Well last time I was here this was the place."
Knocking on the door, the brunette said, "I hope he's as good as you say he is. If so, then we might have a regular spot to stop and take a break."
They knocked on the door and did not get a response. "That's odd. He told me that he'd be here tonight." She saw an officer walk up to them and the first blonde said, "Excuse me sir. Can you tell me where Colonel Nurel Turr is?"
"Hel...hell...I...you..." the man stuttered with his jaw and eyes wide open.
"Excuse me?" Seeing that she was getting nowhere with this one, they continued walking until they ran into an Admiral.
"Hello sir." the girls smiled sweetly.
The Admiral stood with his mouth open, "Uh, hello ladies. My name is High Admiral Cyric. How can I be of assistance?"
"Well we are looking for a pilot by the name of Nurel Turr?"
"Nur...? Nurel Turr, the Wing Commander of Wing VII?"
The lead blonde nodded and smiled. "They same, unless you have another one."
"Oh no. We only have one...thankfully...And your names?" Cyric smiled expectantly.
He looked at the blonde leading the small group, "Taken."
Looking at the redhead, "Taken."
Looking at the other blonde, "Reserved."
Looking at the brunette, his eyes pleading, "Sorry."
Sighing he said, "Go down this hall and knock at the third door. Have a good day ladies."
NEWS:
~ Athena Squadron members! Josh has a fiction comp running about your 'job' in the Wing as the Pacification Squadron. What does it mean? What do you do? How do you do it? How important is the fact that you have 3 different kinds of fighters and how would they affect the 'job'? What kind of tactics would you use to accomplish your goal/mission? These are only a few questions that need to be answered (I'm sure there are many more) and your job is to explain what and how you would do things. Send your submissions to your CMDR, COL Josh Popelka at ehj_popelka@hotmail.com so he can judge them.
~ As you know, it seems as tho the Celebration 3 is doing real well for AD Joe and the others hanging out there at the EH booth. Hopefully, they'll send some pictures of women my way for some reports. ;P
~ What that means is that we all should try and update out websites...now if only I had some time to actually do that. :P
~ Praetorian Squadron was chosen as the TCCOM's first Escort Service...erm, I mean, Squadron. What that means is that they all had mandatory alterations to their fighters so that they can listen to all his bad 70's disco 8-track tapes. :P Seriously, this is indeed an honor for them and I'm sure well deserved. I'd like to see one of Wing VII's squadrons get that honor, so get active and start flying!
~ The Freeworlds server is back online. Go to IP address 209.200.19.44 and do whatever you usually do. :P Just remember that all 'Krath' are considered hostile during these hostilities. If you are one, discontinue use until this is over or you'll be shot on sight. :P
~ Get edumacated! Take some IWATS courses! If you really want to, you can learn something that will definitely help you in the future
~ FC Astatine scanned a copy of the Celebration 3 article found in a local paper...local as in Australia. :P They can be found here (for the GIF file) or here (for the PDF file). Be aware that they are bit large for us dialup users. :P
~ With the recent appointments of AD Gilad and VA Pickled Yoda to command staff positions (congrats, btw), the FOo will be accepting applications for the positions of ISD GreyWolf COM and ASF BGCOM. ~ Speaking of which, VA Pickled Yoda has been appointed to Operations Officer and AD Gilad to Logistics Officer...Yay! :D
~ Remember that there will be a flying comp coming up very soon! Be it one for the wing or for the ship, I expect to have more people flying and participating than we had in the Sov SP Ladder that Stele ran recently! Flying (for fun and definitely for comps) are VERY important!

~ Flying for comps and fun should be done at least a few times a month! Try to get into the practice of it! It's good for you and it's good for your health! :P
~ Recruit! AD Joe (the RO) had some positives from his time at Celebration 3, so let's think positive! Oh and CMDR's with open FL positions, please choose one for any openings. The FO will not send anyone our/your way unless you have all FL positions open.
~ Have fun! This is very important! But let's remember that we are not all here to be lazy. :P
