NEWS:
~ We've lost a few more pilots this past week. Let's say farewell to LT's Doctor Evil and Maaereck Steil who have gone AWOL. Also, a long time member of the TC, MAJ Jonathon has been asked to be transferred to the reserves. Farewell you guys! I hope we all meet up someday! :-)
~ Athena Squadron has a writing competition. COL Josh Popelka is in need of finding out what kind of tactics that they would use to pacify a target. Athena members, send Josh your ideas! This just might be something that the wing would be doing as well in the future so get your pen/pencil ready! :D

~ Very shortly there will be a wing comp, not against anyone else but against each other. It will be your typical flying competition with awards for each flying division (TIE, XvT, XWA, MP...which could include the JK/JO/JA games as well). I'm thinking this will be a monthly thing, assuming I remember to set one up, and for the SP missions they will be 1 mission for each month and you are allowed to participate in any and all divisions. So charge up those laser cannons of yours!

~ Also, if there anyone interested in a Wing Vs. Wing competition? Please email me and let me and I'll try to get one of those setup as well.

~ Imperial Storm V is coming! HA Priyum Patel is looking helpers during the actual wargame portion, specifically, those who can create XWA Skirmish files and TIE/XvT single-player files. ~ Kappa Squadron is looking for a Commander. If you have what it takes and (more than likely) have passed the SM/3 IWATS test, apply to Wing II's Wing Commander, LC Zeth Durron (ml.cb2001@freenet.de). Also, there are a few other openings available. Check the 'Command Openings' page for more info.

~ All CMDR's, remember that weekly reports are...weekly. :P And also needs to be added to the TC Database. This is something that the FOo is very particular about. So send in them reports to your members and to me and upload them. Any CMDR that consistently misses reports, I request you email me privately and let me know why that is being done.

~For those who care/know, the costs for Celebration III in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA have now been covered completely! It's good to know that we have dedicated people who are committed to increasing the size and 'name' of the EH.

So fly! Athena members participate in the fiction comp that your CMDR has setup!
~ Recruit! It is important, no, vital for the club that we have new members. If we don’t have new members, the number of pilots will dwindle till there is no one left! Recruit!
