Only big news is the competition, which is tomorrow :) This Saturday the ASF is hosting Countdown to Oblivion. This is a Fleet wide multi-player event that will include both XWA and XVT platforms. The competition will take place at two times: 09:00-13:00 Eastern and 20:00 to 23:59 Eastern. Each time slot will award LoCs, DFCs, and Iron Stars for each platform. The competition will take place in #ehcoc Also this Saturday following the #EHDB meeting is a Sith Order competition hosted by the SHW/COO Sarin. This competition is listed on Tie Corps website because it will also be taking place in #EHCOC. I will award LoCs to TC Pilots who defeat Sith Pilots and CoFs to Sith Pilots who defeat TC pilots. In the future I plan on having several more "Cross" Subgroup competitions. If you are interested in putting the Honor of your little squad or wing against someone from the DB Sith Side, I will attempt to make a competition happen :p |

This was an awesome week for Wing IX. We had a huge number of BSFs, several new High Scores, lots of IWATS and other
activity. I'm quite proud of you guys right now :). Round 1 of the WCC ended yesterday, and the results are as follows: WING COMMANDERS CHALLENGE - ROUND 1 RESULTS Jarek Laan 3 Sirion 3 Nuno 3 Epic 3 Mosh 3 Powerslave 3 Fox 3 Steve Sunrider 1 Lanidet Tobri 1 SQUADRON SCORES CROSSBOW: 6 HAMMER: 6 SHIELD: 6 SWORD: 5 The COM Remains on leave, he should be back soon :). |

| STANDING ORDERS |

By Order of Major Thorin Oakenshield, all personel in Wing IX will read and obey these standing orders. Failure to abide by
these orders may result in removal from your position, demotion, or being HCIed, depending on the nature of the offense. Any
questions about these standing orders should be directed to the Wing Commander, MAJ Thorin Oakenshield. -ALL MEMBERS- Weekly Contact At the very minimum, all members of the Wing will make contact with thier direct superior at least one time per week, VIA EMAIL. This is the very minimum to be considered active in Wing IX. If you intend to be off of the internet for more then (5) days, email your Commander and let him or her know as a common courtesy. If you are taking a Leave of Abscense more then ten (10) days, notify your Commander -AND- the Wing Commander via email. -SQUADRON COMMANDERS- Weekly Squadron Reports (WSRs) WSEs will be submitted NLT 0600 Eastern Standard Time (-5:00 GMT) each Friday by email to the Wing Commander, Your Squadron, and the Wing IX Email List. Monthly Squadron Evaluations (MSEs) MSEs will be submitted to the Wing Commander NLT the fourth to last day of the month. I.E. if there are 31 days in the Month, your MSE will be submitted by midnight on the 27th. If there are 30 Days, the 26th, and so on. Wing IX Roster You will ensure that your squadron roster is upto date on the Wing Website before you submit your weekly report. Your roster should match that of the Tie Corps exactly by the time the Wing Commander reads your report (unless the TieCorps site does not yet reflect a change, such as a promotion, etc). AWOLs / MIAs / Reserve Requests If you have found a pilot to be AWOL (no contact in 30 days), or MIA (bad email address), or a pilot has requested to go the reserves, you WILL NOT make the database request yourself. Forward the relevant information to the Wing Commander, who will verify the information, and make one last effort to 'save' the pilot before he or she is removed from the wing. This is NOT to take authority away from the CMDRs, but to allow the flags to ensure that a pilot really wants to leave. A good example is a pilot whos pissed off at his CMDR and has requested the reserves, when it's entirely possible the pilot would be happy in another squadron. Flight Leaders EVERY Flight Leader position in the Wing will ALWAYS be filled. If your Flight Leader leaves the squadron for whatever reason, you will appoint a new Flight Leader immediately. The Flight Office requires that all three flights have a leader in order for new pilots to be placed in that Squadron. We will not miss any opportunity for new pilots! Designated XO Every Squadron will have a designated XO. This person will know what he or she needs to do in the event that you are unable to come online, specifically in the area of filing a report for you. |
