ATF BGCOM Steps down

VA Davi Anthol has stepped down as BGCOM of the ATF. VA Davi has been an excellent leader for the ATF and will be sorely missed by the Flight Office and the ATF BG as a whole.

The Flight Office wishes him luck in the future! Applications are NOT being accepted for this position at the current time

After a recent internal review on the functionality of the TIE Corps Battlegroups I have seen it necessary to make some rather large changes in command.

The ISD Challenge has seen a new COM & WC in the forms of RA Locke and COL Sephiroth

The ISD Colossus Welcomes RA Gunman and the promotion of Omicron CMDR MAJ Angel to WC.

I wish all the best of luck in their new positions and we can work togeher to make the Battlegroup stronger.





SHIP/WING NEWS

Not much as yet this week, though there is a distinct possibility in the near future of a ship v ship comp, between the Rel and the Challenge. Bear this in mind and get to generating activity CMDR’s, and pilots take note - many medals will be on offer should sucha comp develop.

Thorin Comes Aboard

Hmmm....Competition Goodness. This competition is all about Thorin coming aboard the ship. How's that for ego ? Now, heres the real competition goodness. It's really a bunch of competitions rolled into one, hows that for SHINEY MEDALS ? ;) Alright then...

Thorin Comes Aboard - WING IX COMPETITION
Open to all members of Wing IX. Begins Friday, May 28th and runs until Thursday, Jun 17th. Nice Long Competition :) All competitions have thier own rules and awards, and additionally, each competition has "points" attatched to it. The SQUADRON who earns the most points during the competition will earn the honor of being named the Wing Commander's Own.

FCHG Race - This is your standard FCHG race. With the FCHG on the database being messed up right now, we're gonna just go by the number of missions flown during the competition. All Missions and Battles are eligable. For a mission/battle to count, simply mail it to myself (thorin@corporatesector.net) instead of to your CMDR (CC your CMDR still so he can count it for activity, CMDRs, don't BSF anything for the competition). At the end of the competition, I'll BSF all of the missions, and the person with the most missions flown will earn themselves an IS-SW and the runner up will recieve an IS-BW. Yeah! Every mission flown counts as one point towards the Wing Commander's Own Award.

Wing IX Banner - With a new WC, why not have a new wing banner ? This ones pretty straight forward, design a Wing Banner for the Tie Corps roster, and submit it to myself (thorin@corporatesector.net). Best submission (to be judged by myself) will recieve an IS-SR, runner up will recieve an IS-BR. Each Banner Submitted (you can submit more then one) earns 1-5 Points towards the Wing Commander's Own Award, depending on the quality and how much I like it.

Thorin Comes Aboard the ISD Relentless - This is a fiction competition. Basically, write a piece of fiction (250 words minimum) about what happened when Thorin came aboard the ship. Please, for the love of the emperor, don't make this boring :->. It should be something funny, involve people from the ship, etc. Feel free to make the funnys at my own expense, it won't hurt you :p. The best piece of fiction will earn a IS-SR, and the runner up will recieve an IS-BR. Each piece of fiction is worth 1-5 points, depending on the quality and how much I like it.

LoC/DFC Race - While I can't make this an official competition for ISs, I can make this count for WCs Own. For every LoC that you earn, you recieve 1 point. For Every DFC that you earn, you recieve 2 points. Simply forward your database email of being awarded the respective medal, and the points will tally up :)

So, in a recap...6 Medals up for grabs, and the title of Wing Commander's Own for one of the squadrons. Get crackin boys... you've got 14 days :)
